Brodmann area 11 is one of Brodmann's cytologically defined regions of the brain. It is involved in decision making and processing rewards, planning, encoding new information into long-term memory, and reasoning.
Brodmann area 11, or BA11, is part of the frontal cortex in the human brain. BA11 is the part of the orbitofrontal cortex that covers the medial portion of the ventral surface of the frontal lobe.
Prefrontal area 11 of Brodmann-1909 is a subdivision of the frontal lobe in the human defined on the basis of cytoarchitecture. Defined and illustrated in Brodmann-1909, it included the areas subsequently illustrated in Brodmann-10 as prefrontal area 11 and rostral area 12.
Area 11 is a subdivision of the cytoarchitecturally defined frontal region of cerebral cortex of the human. As illustrated in Brodmann-10, It constitutes most of the orbital gyri, gyrus rectus and the most rostral portion of the superior frontal gyrus. It is bounded medially by the inferior rostral sulcus (H) and laterally approximately by the frontomarginal sulcus (H). Cytoarchitecturally it is bounded on the rostral and lateral aspects of the hemisphere by the frontopolar area 10, the orbital area 47, and the triangular area 45; on the medial surface it is bounded dorsally by the rostral area 12 and caudally by the subgenual area 25. In an earlier map, the area labeled 11, i.e., prefrontal area 11 of Brodmann-1909, was larger; it included the area now designated rostral area 12.
Area 11 may refer to:
Frenchman Flat is a hydrographic basin in the Nevada National Security Site south of Yucca Flat and north of Mercury, Nevada. The flat was used as an American nuclear test site and has a 5.8 sq mi (15 km2) dry lake bed (Frenchman Lake) that was used as a 1950s airstrip before it was chosen after the start of the Korean War for the Nevada Proving Grounds.Nellis Air Force Base land 12 mi × 30 mi (19 km × 48 km) was transferred to the Atomic Energy Commission on which Site Mercury was constructed on the flat for supporting American nuclear explosive tests. The 1951 Operation Ranger "Able" test (ground zero at UTM Coordinates 923758 on the flat) was the first continental US nuclear detonation after the 1945 Trinity test, and Frenchman Flat also had the only detonation of an American artillery-fired nuclear projectile in the 1953 Upshot-Knothole Grable test using the M65 Atomic Cannon.
Area 5 consists of 95 square miles (250 km2) of the southeastern portion of NTS, north of the town of Mercury, and includes the Area 5 Radioactive Waste Management Site, the Hazardous Waste Storage Unit, and the Spill Test Facility. In the decade 1951–1962, 14 above ground nuclear tests were conducted at Frenchman Flat; several of these atmospheric tests were weapons effects tests. A relatively modest 8-kiloton blast in January 1951 broke storefront windows in Las Vegas.

Area 11 is a gaijin rock band from Nottingham, England. The band currently consists of four members; Thomas "Sparkles*" Clarke, Alex Parvis, Jonathan Kogan and Leo Taylor. To date, they have released a number of singles, two EPs, and a studio album.
They describe their style as being 'gaijin rock' as they draw influences from Japanese culture, music and manga comics.
Area 11 consists of Sparkles*, Alex Parvis, Jonathan Kogan, and Leo Taylor. They formed in 2010 in Nottingham during what was described by band frontman Sparkles* as a "disastrous jam session". Founding members Sparkles*, Luke, and Alex then discovered their shared love of anime whilst watching Code Geass episode 22 "Blood Stained Euphy", from which they wrote their first song, Euphemia.
In 2012, the band was discovered by UK YouTube broadcasting group The Yogscast. Band members Sparkles* and Alex Parvis were subsequently employed by the Yogscast as audio/video producers, and parts of their songs Euphemia and Vectors are used during and at the end of the Yogscast's content. The band was signed to the Yogscast Studios record label, which was run by Sparkles* before his departure in 2014 where they formed their own label, Smihilism Records. They were later commissioned by Namco Bandai Games to compose the song "GO!! Fighting Action Power" as the credits theme for their Bravoman web-series on ShiftyLook, and later "Wonder Wars" as the theme song for the Wonder Momo anime series. Sparkles* left The Yogscast in 2014
A Brodmann area is a region of the cerebral cortex, in the human or other primate brain, defined by its cytoarchitecture, or histological structure and organization of cells.
Brodmann areas were originally defined and numbered by the German anatomist Korbinian Brodmann based on the cytoarchitectural organization of neurons he observed in the cerebral cortex using the Nissl method of cell staining. Brodmann published his maps of cortical areas in humans, monkeys, and other species in 1909, along with many other findings and observations regarding the general cell types and laminar organization of the mammalian cortex. The same Brodmann area number in different species does not necessarily indicate homologous areas. A similar, but more detailed cortical map was published by Constantin von Economo and Georg N. Koskinas in 1925.
Brodmann areas have been discussed, debated, refined, and renamed exhaustively for nearly a century and remain the most widely known and frequently cited cytoarchitectural organization of the human cortex.
Brodmann area 22 is one of Brodmann's cytologically defined regions of the brain. It is involved in auditory processing.
Brodmann area 22 the region of the human brain (the 22nd numbered Brodmann area). On the left side of the brain this area helps with generation and understanding of individual words. On the right side of the brain it helps to discriminate pitch and sound intensity, both of which are necessary to perceive melody and prosody. Researchers believe this part of the brain is active in processing language.
This area is also known as superior temporal area 22, and it refers to a subdivision of the cytoarchitecturally defined temporal region of cerebral cortex. In the human it corresponds approximately to the lateral and caudal two thirds of the superior temporal gyrus. It is bounded rostrally by the temporopolar area 38 (H), medially by the posterior transverse temporal area 42 (H), ventrocaudally by the middle temporal area 21 and dorsocaudally by the supramarginal area 40 (H) and the angular area 39 (H) (Brodmann-1909).
Brodmann area 8 is one of Brodmann's cytologically defined regions of the brain. It is involved in planning complex movements.
Brodmann area 8, or BA8, is part of the frontal cortex in the human brain. Situated just anterior to the premotor cortex (BA6), it includes the frontal eye fields (so-named because they are believed to play an important role in the control of eye movements). Damage to this area, by stroke, trauma or infection, causes tonic deviation of the eyes towards the side of the injury. This finding occurs during the first few hours of an acute event such as cerebrovascular infarct (stroke) or hemorrhage (bleeding).
The term Brodmann area 8 refers to a cytoarchitecturally defined portion of the frontal lobe of the guenon. Located rostral to the arcuate sulcus, it was not considered by Brodmann-1909 to be topographically homologous to the intermediate frontal area 8 of the human.
Distinctive features (Brodmann-1905): compared to Brodmann area 6-1909, area 8 has a diffuse but clearly present internal granular layer (IV); sublayer 3b of the external pyramidal layer (III) has densely distributed medium-sized pyramidal cells; the internal pyramidal layer (V) has larger ganglion cells densely distributed with some granule cells interspersed; the external granular layer (II) is denser and broader; cell layers are more distinct; the abundance of cells is somewhat greater.
Live in the fire, die in the flame
Keep us alive and give us a name
Alive in the shadows of what we became
Keep us alive and let us reclaim
We were three, and now we are one
Stand with me, watch what we've become
Torn apart by desire and war
United we stand, divided we fall
So summon me now, I want you to know
I've got your back, wherever you go
The look in your eyes - I understand you -
Cause we're are in deadlock and nothing breaks through
We know all the things that they'll never learn
And we've seen so much that they'll never see
Cause we are so strong, more than they can be
A hero to them, a legend to me
A legend to me
Lost in the darkness, refusing to see
Blind to the things that we didn't believe
Watching alone as you turned to leave
Becoming a martyr for prophecy
In the mirror I see the snake's eyes
Luck runs out with a roll of the dice
Torn apart by desire and war
United we fall
So summon me now, I want you to know
I've got your back, wherever you go
The look in your eyes - I understand you -
Cause we're are in deadlock and nothing breaks through
We know all the things that they'll never learn
And we've seen so much that they'll never see
Cause we are so strong, more than they can be
A hero to them, a legend to me
A legend to me
So summon me now, I want you to know
I've got your back, wherever you go
The look in your eyes - I understand you -
Cause we're are in deadlock and nothing breaks through
We know all the things that they'll never learn
And we've seen so much that they'll never see
Cause we are so strong, more than they can be
A hero to them, a hero to me
So summon me now, I want you to know
I've got your back, wherever you go
The look in your eyes - I understand you -
Cause we're are in deadlock and nothing breaks through
We know all the things that they'll never learn
And we've seen so much that they'll never see
Cause we are so strong, more than they can be
A hero to them, a legend to me
A hero to them, a legend to me
A legend to me
