Brent Maher

Brent Maher is a producer, engineer, and songwriter currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee. He has produced and engineered six Grammy-winning records and received awards from the CMA, ACM, CCMA, ASCAP, SOCAN and NSAI. He is credited with discovering and developing country duo, The Judds, and subsequently produced all ten of their albums, writing many of their hit songs. Maher is also the CEO of Moraine Music Group and has served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Country Music.

Early life

Born in Chase, Kansas, Maher lived there until he moved to Denver, Colorado as a teenager. He joined the Air Force after high school where he played guitar and trumpet in his band, The Journeymen. After leaving the Air Force, Maher was hired by Monument Records president, Fred Foster and chief engineer and eventual mentor, Bill Porter, as an assistant engineer in Nashville, Tennessee. Maher later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to work at United Recording where he engineered Ike and Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary,” The 5th Dimension's "Age of Aquarius", Duke Ellington's last record, Chuck Berry, Sammy Davis Jr., Gladys Knight, Sly and the Family Stone, and others. Maher’s work as a producer picked up when he recorded Benny Hester's debut LP in Vegas.

Brent

Brent is an Old English place name and surname. The place name can be from Celtic words meaning "holy one" (if it refers to the River Brent), or "high place", literally, "from a steep hill" (if it refers to the villages in Somerset and Devon, England) (Mills 1991). The surname often indicates that one's ancestors lived in a place called Brent.

Brent has also become a regularly used given name in some countries, being among the thousand most common names for boys born in the United States since 1933. When used as a given name today, Brent is sometimes a short form of Brenton, but this was probably not the original inspiration for Brent's use as a given name, since Brenton's own regular use as a first name came many years after Brent was established in that role.

The London Borough of Brent ( pronunciation ) is a London borough in north west London, and forms part of Outer London. The major areas are Kilburn, Wembley and Harlesden.

It borders the boroughs of Harrow to the north-west, Barnet to the north-east, Camden to the east and Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Kensington and Chelsea to the south, and Westminster to the south-east. Most of the eastern border is formed by the Roman road Watling Street, which is now the modern A5. Brent has a mixture of residential, industrial and commercial land. Brent is home to Wembley Stadium, one of the country's biggest landmarks, as well as Wembley Arena. The local authority is Brent London Borough Council.

Brent has the highest proportion of housing benefit claims by private tenants in the country as a percentage of all households according to the Financial Times.

Caesar

Original films

Milo, better known as Caesar, is a fictional character in the Planet of the Apes franchise. He is named after Julius Caesar.

The character of Caesar has had major participation in original film series and the reboot film series.

In Escape from the Planet of the Apes

He is the son of talking chimpanzees Cornelius and Zira. Originally named Milo after Dr. Milo, who travelled back in time with Cornelius and Zira to the Earth of Taylor's era, he was reared by his human foster father Armando, a traveling circus owner who gave Cornelius and Zira sanctuary when Zira went into labor in the final act of Escape from the Planet of the Apes. Before departing, Zira switched the infant Milo with a young chimpanzee recently born to Armando's primitive chimpanzee, Heloise. Heloise's baby was killed, along with Zira, by the human Dr. Otto Hasslein. After Cornelius kills Hasslein, he is shot by a Marine Corps sniper. Milo speaks his first word, "Mama", at the very end of the film. His false identity secure, Milo grew up as a mute acrobat.
