Breathe (Nickelback song)

"Breathe" is a song recorded by Canadian rock band Nickelback. It was released on November 20, 2000, as the third single from the album The State. It was the second multi-format rock hit from the album in the United States, peaking at number ten on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and number 21 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. The song is also featured on MuchMusic's Big Shiny Tunes 5 compilation album and is also featured in the 2002 fantasy film, Clockstoppers.

Respire (film)

Respire (also known as Breathe) is a 2014 French drama film based on the novel of the same name by Anne-Sophie Brasme. The film was directed by Mélanie Laurent and stars Joséphine Japy, Lou de Laâge, Isabelle Carré and Claire Keim. It was screened in the International Critics' Week section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. It was also screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. In January 2015, the film received three nominations at the 20th Lumières Awards and also two nominations at the 40th César Awards.

Plot

Charlie (Joséphine Japy) is a teenage high school student whose parents are breaking up. At school she is assigned to take care of new student Sarah (Lou de Laâge) who has recently moved from Nigeria, where her mother works, to live with her aunt. The two quickly become inseparable. During All Saints' Day Sarah tells Charlie that her mother is unable to visit and she'll be alone. Charlie invites Sarah to spend time with her mother and her mother's friends for the holiday.

Salt River (Arizona)

The Salt River (O'odham [Pima]: Onk Akimel, Yavapai: ʼHakanyacha or Hakathi:) is a stream in the U.S. state of Arizona. It is the largest tributary of the Gila River. The river is about 200 miles (320 km) long. Its drainage basin is about 13,700 square miles (35,000 km²) large. The longest of the Salt River's many tributaries is the 195-mile (314 km) Verde River. The Salt's headwaters tributaries, the Black River and East Fork, increase the river's total length to about 300 miles (480 km).

Course

The Salt River is formed by the confluence of the White River and the Black River in the White Mountains of eastern Gila County. The White and Black rivers, and other tributaries of the upper Salt River, drain the region between the Mogollon Rim in the north and the Natanes Mountains and Natanes Plateau to the east and south. Tributaries of the Salt River also drain the Sierra Ancha and Mazatzal Mountains. The White and Black rivers drain the White Mountains in the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. Together the two rivers drain an area of about 1,900 square miles (4,900 km²). The Salt River, along with the Black River, forms the boundary between the Fort Apache Indian Reservation to the north and the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation to the south.

Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students

The Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) is an evangelical Christian parachurch organisation that aims to encourage university students to believe in and follow Jesus Christ. It is affiliated with, and in 1947 was a founding member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.

History

The young English evangelist, Howard Guinness, toured Australia in 1930 to encourage university students in evangelism. He helped form campus student groups starting in Sydney, then Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart, including Sydney University Evangelical Union (SUEU) and Melbourne University Christian Union (MUCU - originally the Melbourne University Evangelical Union), which celebrated their 75th anniversaries in 2005. Guinness returned in 1933-1934 and founded groups in Perth and Adelaide.

These groups, led by the SUEU and the MUCU, joined together to form a network in 1936 as the Australian Intervarsity Fellowship or IVF, which later changed its name to the AFES in 1973. It had over 2000 members by 1959 and today has groups in over 50 campuses across the country in every state and territory, and employs over 100 staffworkers who look after the students on their various campuses.

Salt (Forget Cassettes album)

Following the departure of percussionist Doni Schroader in 2005, Forget Cassettes' Beth Cameron recruited Nashville drummer Aaron Ford and Apollo Up!'s Jay Leo Phillips on bass, guitar, keys, and backing vocals. The record was released in 2006 on Theory 8 Records, and eventually given a European release on March 5, 2007, courtesy of One Little Indian Records. The European release featured a bonus track entitled "Sleeper".
