Bratz

Bratz is an American product line of fashion dolls and merchandise manufactured by MGA Entertainment. Four original 10 inch dolls were released in 2001 – Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha, and Jade. They featured almond-shaped eyes adorned with eyeshadow, and lush, glossy lips. Bratz reached great success and the original line of dolls was expanded with a number of spin-offs like Bratz Kidz, and Bratz Babyz, as well as media featuring the Bratz characters, including a movie, TV series, music albums and video games. In 2005, global sales were two billion dollars and by 2006 Bratz had about forty percent of the fashion-doll market.

Bratz dolls have provoked controversy in several areas. From the dolls' stylized proportions to fashion-forward clothing, the brand has always followed pop culture trends closely. For years, MGA Entertainment was involved in a lengthy legal dispute with Mattel over the rights to the Bratz design. In 2011, the dispute ended with MGA as the victors. Related litigation is ongoing in a lawsuit by MGA alleging Mattel's theft of trade secrets.

Bratz: Rock Angelz Soundtrack

Bratz: Rock Angelz Soundtrack is an album released from the Bratz doll franchise. It features songs from the film Bratz: Rock Angelz, the Bratz TV series and the Bratz Rock Angelz video game. The tracks "Girls Night Out" and "Sparkle & Shine" were released on separate "So Good" singles.

Bratz: Rock Angelz (video game)

Bratz: Rock Angelz is a 2005 video game based on the popular Bratz fashion doll line. This is the first Bratz game published by THQ. It is based on the direct-to-DVD movie Bratz: Rock Angelz and the toyline affiliated with the same name. Since the release, it has 1.4 million sold copies.

Gameplay

PlayStation 2 and GameCube

This version of the game is an open world sandbox adventure, similar to the Grand Theft Auto series (it even shares the same RenderWare engine with the GTA series, most especially the Grand Theft Auto III-era games). The player controls one of the four Bratz girls - Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha and Jade - who are attempting to launch their own fashion magazine.

Jade had taken a job as an intern for her favorite fashion magazine known as Your Thing. A problem, caused by the "Tweevils" Kirstee and Kaycee, results in Jade being fired by the CEO, Burduine Maxwell. Her friends decide to cheer her up by suggesting they start their own magazine. After redecorating an old office the four girls launch Bratz Magazine. Later the girls launch their own line of fashion and form a rock band.
