620 Park Avenue is a luxury apartment building on Park Avenue in Manhattan.

History

620 Park Avenue was designed by J.E.R. Carpenter and constructed by Starrett Brothers construction in 1924. It features a limestone facade on the two lowest floors and a brick exterior for the upper 13 floors. It is a 15 story building featuring just 15 units each composed of a full floor. In recent years it has become known for its conservative and often exclusionary co-op board and is known to avoid famous or notorious residents.

270 Park Avenue

270 Park Avenue, also known as the JPMorgan Chase Tower and formerly the Union Carbide Building, is a skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, designed by Natalie de Blois for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Built in 1961 in the space formerly occupied by the 12-story, stone-faced Renaissance Revival Hotel Marguery built in 1917, it served as the headquarters for Union Carbide until the company moved to Danbury, Connecticut in 1983. It is currently the world headquarters for JPMorgan Chase. The building is 707 feet (215 m) tall and contains 52 floors. The building is currently undergoing a full renovation in order to achieve a LEED Platinum certification.

It was used in exterior shots as the headquarters for the "World Wide Wicket Company" in the movie How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

101 Park Avenue

101 Park Avenue is a 629-foot (192 m) tall skyscraper in New York City, New York. It was completed in 1979 to 1982 and has 49 floors. Eli Attia Architects designed the building, which is the 64th tallest in New York.

It was used as the facade of the fictional "Pemrose building" in the 1987 film The Secret of My Success, as well as the fictional "Clamp Tower" in the 1990 film Gremlins 2: The New Batch. The building features in the 1991 Jeff Bridges film The Fisher King and is shown as the site of George Costanza's office in an episode of Seinfeld, as well as Dudley Moore's character's office in the film Crazy People. It is also featured as a crash site in the 2012 film The Avengers.

Bradford (Park Avenue) Association Football Club is an English football club based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Its name derived from the club's old stadium on Horton Park Avenue in Bradford (designed by Archibald Leitch), and was used to avoid confusion with Bradford City. However the club is traditionally known simply as Bradford, with the letters BFC adorning Leitch's grandstand.

The present club is a reincarnation of the club which graced the Football League from 1908 to 1970 before dropping to the Northern Premier League and going into liquidation in 1974. The new entity, established in 1987, is part of the National League North for the 2015–16 season and plays its home matches at the 3,500-capacity Horsfall Athletics Stadium. Bradford Park Avenue is one of 35 clubs to compete in all four top tiers of English football. Indeed, the new club started life at what was then the thirteenth tier: Division Three of the West Riding County Amateur League.

Bradford (band)

Bradford were an indie band from Blackburn, Lancashire, England. The band is best known for being liked by Morrissey, who proclaimed them heirs to the Smiths throne.

History

The line-up was Ian H. (Ian Michael Hodgson, vocals), Ewan Butler (guitar), John Baulcombe (Keyboards),Jos Murphy (bass guitar), and Mark McVitie (drums). The band's debut single, "Skin Storm" was released in 1988, and had the distinction of being the first independently financed recording to be released on compact disc. They followed this with "Tattered, Tangled & Torn" before signing to Midnight Music, although their only release for the label, a self-titled mini-LP, was withdrawn. The band were then signed to Smiths producer Stephen Street's Foundation label. Street produced the major share of Bradford's material during their two-year association before the band signed with Sire Records/Warner Bros. Records. The band opened for Morrissey at his first post-Smiths concert at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. 1989 saw two further singles, both hits on the UK Indie Chart, and an album, Shouting Quietly, produced by Stephen Street and released on Sire Records label in the United States followed in 1990. Sales of the album were disappointing, and the band were dropped by Sire. An album collecting tracks from their early singles was also issued. In 1991, Morrissey recorded a cover version of "Skin Storm", released as a B-side on his "Pregnant for the Last Time" single and also featured on the "My Love Life" and "The CD Singles '88-91'" albums.

City of Bradford

The City of Bradford (ⁱ/ˈbrædfərd/) is a local government district of West Yorkshire, England, with the status of a city and metropolitan borough. It is named after its largest settlement, Bradford, but covers a far larger area which includes the towns of Keighley, Shipley, Bingley, Ilkley, Haworth, Silsden and Denholme. Bradford has a population of 528,155, making it the fourth-most populous metropolitan district and the sixth-most populous local authority district in England. It forms part of the West Yorkshire Urban Area conurbation which in 2001 had a population of 1.5 million and the city is part of the Leeds-Bradford Larger Urban Zone (LUZ), which, with a population of 2,393,300, is the third largest in the United Kingdom after London and Manchester.

The city is situated on the edge of the Pennines, and is bounded to the east by the City of Leeds, the south east by the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees and the south west by the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale. APOEL FC (Greek: ΑΠΟΕΛ; short for Αθλητικός Ποδοσφαιρικός Όμιλος Ελλήνων Λευκωσίας, Athletikos Podosferikos Omilos Ellinon Lefkosias, "Athletic Football Club of Greeks of Nicosia") is a professional football club based in Nicosia, Cyprus. APOEL is the most popular football team in Cyprus and they are the most successful with an overall tally of 24 championships, 21 cups and 13 super cups.

APOEL's greatest moment in the European competitions occurred in the season 2011–12, when the club participated in the group stages of the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League (along with F.C.
