Bostanabad County (Persian: شهرستان بستانآباد) is a county in East Azerbaijan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Bostanabad. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 96,555, in 21,225 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Tekmeh Dash District. The county has two cities: Bostanabad and Tekmeh Dash.
The town of Bostanabad in Bostanabad County, located 55 kilometers from Tabriz, was built on the site of the old city of Ojan whose name has been mentioned in many history books since the sixth century AH. Ojan was the summer capital of the Moghuls, and was completely destroyed later on due to various events.
Quory Gueol Lake, a leisure place in East Azerbaijan Province, is one of the natural shelters for many migrant birds.
Warm Water Spring is located near the main road between Tabriz and Tehran.
Aq Bolaq Cave is located in the southern part of the county towards Qareh Chaman.

It is located 55 kilometres (34 mi) south east of Tabriz, the capital of the province. Mohammad Hossein Behjat Tabrizi commonly known as Shahriyar is one of the most famous poets of Bostanabad. Some people of Bostanabad believe that the current city was built on the ruins of Ujan (or Ojan), the summer capital of the Mongols that disappeared and its name was mentioned in most books of history since the sixth century AH.
Ujan was completely destroyed later on due to various events. The people of Qayyumabad were at first mostly Hazarewal, Pashtuns and Christians. Now the population has increased and a more diverse population resides in the area. The name of these mosque are Muhammadi Masjid B area Madina Masjid A area, Ghosia Masjid, Taiba Masjid, Hanfia Masjid, Usmania masjid and Noor Masjid in D area. The schools of Qayyumabad Korangi Road are Oxford Grammar School, Sarwar Jahan Public School, Varraich Angels Secondary School, Al Abbas Secondary School, Little Prince School and Pakistan Foundation. Most of the population is educated up to SSC level (matric) but the area has also provided Doctors, Engineers, Politicians, Labours and Chartered Accountants as well. Most Qayyumabadi people prefer working in Govt. and Semi Govt institutions like Army, Police and KESC.
