Again (T-ara EP)

Again is the fifth extended play by South Korean girl group T-ara, released on October 10, 2013 by Core Contents Media. It was the first album released after member Lee Areum left the group, and the first to feature the original six-member line-up since T-ara's debut.

Background and release

On October 6, 2013, T-ara announced the impending release of double lead singles to promote their upcoming EP, Again. The album was released digitally on October 10, including the singles "Number 9" (넘버나인) and "Because I Know" (느낌 아니까; Neukkim Anikka) and their music videos. "Number 9" is an electro-pop dance song with sad lyrics and melody. It was choreographed by Yama & Hotchicks, who also choreographed "Bo Peep Bo Peep". "Because I Know" is a mid-tempo song with an acoustic feel.

A repackaged edition of the EP, Again 1977, was released on December 4, 2013. It contains two new songs, "Again 1977" and "Do You Know Me", a remake of Sand Pebbles' 1977 hit, "What Should I Do". The EP was repackaged and digitally re-released again, on December 14, 2013, as White Winter with two Christmas songs, "Hide and Seek" and "Middle of Winter Hide and Seek".

MX (band)

MX is a Brazilian thrash metal band, formed in the early 1980s in São Paulo. Its name comes from the American ICBM MX missile. Mx was one of the most important bands from the Brazilian thrash metal scene during the late 1980s. The band's sound is closer to the Bay Area thrash scene than the Brazilian scene, although many of the vocals were death metal grunts. However, some of its later work was fitting as post thrash.

MX was the opening act in Brazil for Testament in 1989 and Exodus in 1997.

The band released two studio albums during its heyday, Simoniacal in 1988 and Mental Slavery in 1990, on the defunct label Fucker.

Shortly after the release of Mental Slavery, the band split up, but reformed in 1997, releasing the EP Again in that year and the album Last File in 1999. The band split up again shortly after.

The band reformed for a second time in 2005, planning to tour and to release a new studio album. The first two albums have been re-released under the Marquee Records label.

History

The history of the companies that now make up UBM stretches back almost two hundred years. UBM businesses still publish many other titles that were launched in the 19th century, including Building magazine, launched in 1843 by Joseph Hansom, as well as Chemist & Druggist.

The company was founded in 1918 as United Newspapers by David Lloyd George to acquire the Daily Chronicle and Lloyd's Weekly Newspaper. In 1929, the company merged with Provincial Newspapers, an owner of regional papers in the north; the next year, it sold its national papers. The company continued for decades as a regional newspaper publisher, making acquisitions such as Yorkshire Post Newspapers in 1969.

Borne (band)

Borne is an Australian alt-rock band formed in Melbourne in 2003.

They released several EPs in their first 3 years of existence, but came to widespread attention only in 2007, when their single "The Guide" was featured as Single of the Week on a number of iTunes Stores worldwide, including the US store. iTunes took the unprecedented move of listing the free download worldwide. The band's debut onto the world digital stage was remarkable, soaring into chart high-points globally and resting at No. 13 in the US Billboard digital charts. The band was last-minute inclusion at the 2007 South by Southwest Festival, in Austin, Texas, an annual event where hundreds of musical acts from across the globe are showcased.

In 2006, one of the band's songs, Don't Go Now was featured during evictions on the Australian version of Big Brother. In the United States, The Guide was featured in the hit television program, Friday Night Lights.

The band made 2007 its year of recognition in its own back yard, Australia. Borne raised eyebrows in the Australian music industry when it was promoted to the high ground of international recognition at the UK's big festivals; Hyde Park Calling and Glastonbury. It put the seal on 2007 when from 5000 entrants Borne took out the four most coveted awards at the MusicOz Awards 2007, the annual showcase event for independent Australian musicians. Borne won the Nova Initiative award, its lead singer Cameron Tapp also received the award for best singer/songwriter. The band also won the Garth Porter Award and the major award, Artist Of The Year. Further international recognition of the band and its lyrical appeal to network television audiences came with the inclusion of "Don't Go Now" in the US, ABC super-series 'October Road'.

Borne, Overijssel

Borne (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbɔrnə]) is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands. Its inhabitants also have the nickname Melbuul (flourbag in Twentsch). Borne is the sister city of the German town Rheine.

History

The earliest traces of inhabitation in Borne are archeological finds at the "Stroom Esch" and "Zuid Esch" of substantial settlements dating from the late Iron Age and the Roman period. Finds from around 800 CE., the remains of two farmhouses and the grave of a man buried with his armour, a sword, lance and 16 silver dinarii coined by Charlemagne near two farmhouses of the same age suggest inhabitation in the ninth century. The first historical mention of Borne, under the name Borghende dates from 1206 in a document which transfers churches in Steenwijk and Borne and their possessions by Fredericus, the abbot of the monastery in Ruinen to the bishop of Utrecht, Dirk van Are in return for possessions in Drenthe.

The earliest phases of Borne center around the Meijershof, which came into possession of the abbot of Ruinen in 1142.
