Castle is an American comedy-drama police procedural television series on ABC which was created by Andrew W. Marlowe. It stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, a famous mystery novelist, and Stana Katic as NYPD detective (later Captain) Kate Beckett. The series premiered as a midseason replacement on March 9, 2009. The series was renewed for its eighth season on May 7, 2015.As of February 14, 2016, 161 episodes of Castle have aired.

Boom! (film)

Boom! is a 1968 British drama film starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Noël Coward, directed by Joseph Losey, and adapted from the play The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore by Tennessee Williams.

Plot

Flora 'Sissy' Goforth (Taylor, in a part written for an older woman) is a terminally ill woman living with a coterie of servants in a large mansion on a secluded island. Into her life comes a mysterious man, Christopher Flanders, nicknamed "Angelo Del Morte" (played by then-husband Burton, in a part intended for a very young man). The mysterious man may or may not be "The Angel of Death".

The interaction between Goforth and Flanders forms the backbone of the plot, with both of the major characters voicing lines of dialogue that carry allegorical and Symbolist significance. Secondary characters chime in, such as "the Witch of Capri" (Coward). The movie mingles respect and contempt for human beings who, like Goforth, continue to deny their own death even as it draws closer and closer. It examines how these characters can enlist and redirect their fading erotic drive into the reinforcement of this denial.

Boom (Mario song)

"Boom" is an R&B single by Mario featuring Juvenile. It is the fourth and final single from his second studio album Turning Point. The single was released on October 3, 2005. The song it was produced by Lil Jon and written by Lamarquis Jefferson, Lil Jon, Johnta Austin, Craig Love and Juvenile. The song peaked on the Rhythmic Top 40 chart at number 24.

The video premiered worldwide on TRL and was directed by Benny Boom. The video features Juvenile.

Alive! (Grant Green album)

Alive! is an album by American jazz guitarist Grant Green featuring a performance recorded at the Cliche Lounge in Newark, New Jersey in 1970 and released on the Blue Note label. The album was Green's first official live recording. The CD reissue added three bonus tracks.

Reception

The Allmusic review by Steve Huey awarded the album 4 stars and stated "Alive! is the hardest funk LP Grant Green recorded during the later phase of his career... this is the most convincing and consistent Green had been as a funkster and, while nearly all of his albums from the early '70s feature at least some worthwhile material for acid jazz and beat-sampling junkies, Alive! is probably the best place to start".

Alive (Natalie Bassingthwaighte song)

"Alive" is the debut solo single by Australian recording artist and actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte. It was released on 14 October 2008, as the first single from her debut solo album 1000 Stars. The song's musical-genre is pop and its lyrics describe being free, taking chances and making love. Upon its release, "Alive" peaked at number eight on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association for sales exceeding 70,000 copies.

"Alive" was written by Bassingthwaighte, Arnthor Birgisson and Andrew Frampton in Los Angeles, during the last week Bassingthwaighte was writing songs for 1000 Stars. It was also her last writing session with Birgisson and Frampton. Bassingthwaighte stated that it was really hard to write "Alive" because they wanted to write something that was "just fun" because she felt a song like that was missing from the album. The music video was directed by Anthony Rose and features Bassingthwaighte dressed in multiple outfits and wigs.

I Am Alive

"I Am Alive" is a survivalvideo game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai and published by Ubisoft. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting and focuses on facing the permanent insecurity of a dystopian, decaying and hazardous world, and humanity's darkest inclinations towards brutality and materialism. Originally under development by Darkworks from 2003 until 2007, Ubisoft Shanghai completed the title. It was released for Xbox Live Arcade on March 7, 2012, for PlayStation Network on April 3, 2012 in North America and April 4, 2012 in Europe and also for Microsoft Windows on September 6, 2012.

Plot

The game takes place one year after America has gone through a massive disaster known simply as "The Event," which included earthquakes that destroyed most cities. Due to the damage of the aftermath, many people are forced to go without resources. The government tries to help citizens, but their attempts are useless. Supplies become low and this causes citizens to become agitated, violent and bitter.
