Bojan Hodak (born 4 May 1971), is a former Croatian football player who is now a football coach. He currently coaches Kelantan FA in Malaysia.
Hodak was born in Belgrade, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia and raised in Zagreb, SR Croatia, as the second child in a family with a strong military background. His father and brother were both officers in the Yugoslav People's Army there. In his early years he spent most time playing basketball and football, not preferring one from the other as he excelled in both. There was neither a prominent figure that encouraged him, nor was there any history of sportsmen in his family, but Bojan carried on for fun, joining his friends. However at the age of 16, his local club NK Trnje began paying him for his services and he duly gave up basketball to focus his time and energy in football.
Before accepting his post of coach-manager of UPB-MyTeam FC, Bojan was head coach of Little League Malaysia, a youth football program in Kuala Lumpur.
Bojan Hodak is was in the running for MSL's coach of the year award for his work in transforming MyTeam. After his first year in second division Malaysian Football, MyTeam were promoted to the Malaysian Super League.
He is married to his wife Junie Hodak née Tan. They have a son Luka.
