Blairdardie is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde.
The main A82 "Great Western Road" runs right through the middle creating a South Blairdardie (99% Keal Avenue, Keal Crescent, Keal Drive) which extends to the Forth and Clyde canal and a North Blairdardie which extends to Drumchapel Road in the North.
There are two well-regarded primary schools in Blairdardie, Blairdardie Primary http://www.blairdardie-pri.glasgow.sch.uk/ and St. Ninian's Primary.
The district of North Blairdardie consists of mostly terraced houses, which were council built and are now a mixture of owner-occupied and rented.
The district of South Blairdardie is made up of mostly council-built low-rise flats of up to five storeys. There are, however, four landmark multi-storey flats situated along the Great Western Road. Built in the late 1950s and early 1960s, they still overlook the entire west end of Glasgow. These multi-storey flats underwent extensive renovation in 2007.
