Black Light is the second release and first EP by Israeli folk/indie solo artist Amit Erez, released on July 2, 2006. It was Erez' first and only release on EarSay Records.
Unlike Erez' first release, this EP also features a minimal style though it features additional instruments except acoustic guitar, such as keyboards, drums and strings. The EP sees influences from such artists as Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Nick Cave, Joni Mitchell and Robert Wyatt, a mix of indie rock and folk with touches of progressive and psychedelic rock.

I couldn't keep up
With watering myself down,
And so all that grew
Was the high tide until I drowned,
The oxygen had all run out
And now I'm left dried up and standing here.
But little did you know
I left another seed.
And little did you know,
That's how it's gotta be.
If there's a place right now,
There's a way somehow
And that's where I've gotta be.
I'm teething
I never would've thought that there was any correlation
Between the people I let down by not remaking Airplane Conversations,
Down to the t
And the people like me,
Who should've, could've, would've been the last ones to bleed the future.
But little did you know
I left another seed.
And little did you know,
That's how it's gotta be.
If there's a place right now
There's a way somehow
And that's where I've gotta,
Where I-
I'm
Teething.
I should've could've been the one
To turn everything around.
And that's why I'm here.
If there's a place right now
There's a way somehow
And that's where I've gotta,
Where I've gotta,
There's a place right now,
There's a way somehow
And that's where I've gotta,
I swear to God I'm teething
These daydreams are day seeds
For what I've been planning.
These daydreams are day seeds
And worth it, so hold on.
