Hooverphonic is a Belgian band that formed in October 1995. Though early on categorized as a trip hop group, they quickly expanded their sound to the point where they could no longer be described as a lone genre, but rather encompass alternative, electronica, electropop, rock, and mixture of others. The band originally called themselves Hoover, but later changed their name to Hooverphonic after discovering other groups were already using the Hoover name and to avoid any legal issues with the vacuum cleaner company.
On 10 October 2008, Geike Arnaert, the lead singer of the band, announced she would leave the group by the end of the year to pursue her solo career. Arnaert had been working on solo material for a few months. The last concert of Hooverphonic with Geike was on 13 December 2008 in Tele-Club, Ekaterinburg, Russia. It was filmed by the local MTV station and was shown on Russian TV in 2009.
On 29 October 2010, Hooverphonic announced their new single on their website. The videoclip showcased fourteen possible singers but only one of them, Noémie Wolfs, proved to be the real successor of Geike Arnaert. On 4 November 2010, the new singer was announced on De Laatste Show at the VRT, the Flemish public broadcasting organization.

Billie Paul Piper (born Leian Paul Piper; 22 September 1982), previously known by the stage mononym Billie, is an English singer, dancer and actress. She made her debut in Scratchy & Co. (1995–1998), and at the age of 15, she signed a recording contract and released her debut single "Because We Want To", which debuted at number one in the UK and made her the youngest artist ever to debut at number one. The single was followed by Piper's album Honey to the B (1998), which was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) and platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). In 2000, she released her second album, Walk of Life. In 2003, she retired from the recording industry and launched an acting career.
Piper's transition into acting began in 2004. Her most famous role is as Rose Tyler, companion to The Doctor from 2005 to 2006, in the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, a role she reprised in 2008, 2010, and 2013. In 2007, Broadcast magazine listed Piper at no. 6 in its "Hot 100" list of influential on-screen performers; she was the top woman on the list. From 2007 until 2011, she starred as the high-flying escort Belle de Jour in the TV series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She currently stars as Brona Croft in the Showtime series Penny Dreadful.
Billie Jenkins is a fictional character on The WB television series Charmed. Played by Kaley Cuoco, she appeared in every episode of the series' 8th and final season.
For most of Charmed's final season, Billie was a young apprentice witch to the Charmed Ones, and the charge of the youngest sister, half-Whitelighter Paige Matthews. She was concerned about finding her long-lost sister, Christy Jenkins—not knowing she'd been turned evil by the demons who kidnapped her 15 years earlier.
Her power of projection is known as the 'ultimate power' in demonic circles, which she can use (among other things) to vanquish demons long-thought unvanquishable even by the Charmed Ones.
Billie Jenkins is introduced in the show's 8th season as a young college student, a witch who pays more attention to demon-fighting than to her education. At first she is introduced as a new charge for Paige Matthews, who is annoyed because this comes at a time when the Charmed Ones want to remain hidden. Billie's character is quickly established as a powerful witch who claims to need no help.
