Alexandria "Sandi" Thom (born 11 August 1981) is a Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She was one of the first artists along with Arctic Monkeys to become mainstream thanks to the Internet. She became widely known in 2006 after a series of webcasts and her UK number one single "I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in My Hair)". Thom has released five studio albums: Smile... It Confuses People (2006), The Pink & the Lily (2008), Merchants and Thieves (2010), Flesh And Blood (2012), and The Covers Collection (2013).
Thom was born in Banff, Aberdeenshire. She attended Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen. Thom spent three years playing piano and singing in the local band The Residents. At a pub in Gourdon on the North East Coast of Scotland, a small plaque and picture was mounted on the wall to mark her time there.
Thom became the youngest student ever to be accepted at the prestigious Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA). In 2003, Thom graduated from LIPA with a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts.
15 Big Ones is the 20th studio album by American rock group The Beach Boys released in July 1976. It comprises cover versions of rock and roll and rhythm and blues standards, along with a few new originals. The album was met with mixed reviews, but the highest sales the band had for a new studio album in many years, peaking at number 8 on the weekly Billboard albums chart. Three singles were issued: "Rock and Roll Music", "It's O.K.", and "Everyone's in Love with You". The first two charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 8 and number 29, respectively.
With Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar having left the Beach Boys since their previous album Holland (1973), 15 Big Ones was recorded at a time when the group were struggling with their creative direction. Responding to the unexpected success of the greatest hits compilation Endless Summer (1974), Brian Wilson, who was not credited as producer for any of the band's albums since Pet Sounds (1966), was brought into commandeering the 15 Big Ones sessions. Although the band implored his return, they resisted his desire for an underproduced sound. Upon its release, brothers Carl and Dennis Wilson voiced disappointment with the album, calling it "unfinished" and "a bruising process".
Fifty Big Ones, also referred to as 50 Big Ones, is a two-disc compilation album released by Capitol Records consisting of material from the American rock and roll band The Beach Boys. The album was released in 2012 to commemorate the band's 50th anniversary, and features some remastered mixes and stereo debuts. The track listing is similar to the setlist the band played on the 50th anniversary tour.
The name of the compilation is a reference to their 1976 album, 15 Big Ones, which included fifteen songs and commemorated their fifteenth anniversary (two songs from that album, "It's OK" and "Rock and Roll Music", are included here).
All tracks written by Brian Wilson/Mike Love, unless otherwise noted.

Big Ones is one of the many compilation albums by the American rock band Aerosmith, released on November 1, 1994 by Geffen Records (see 1994 in music). Big Ones featured twelve hits from the band's three consecutive multi-platinum albums, Permanent Vacation (1987), Pump (1989), and Get a Grip (1993), as well as the hit "Deuces are Wild" from The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience (1993), and two new songs, "Blind Man" and "Walk on Water", which were recorded during a break in the band's Get a Grip Tour. These songs were also included on the band's 2001 compilation album Young Lust: The Aerosmith Anthology. Big Ones is the band's second bestselling compilation album, reaching #6 on the Billboard charts, and selling four million copies in the United States alone. The album quickly became a world-wide hit reaching the Top 10 in nine countries before the end of the year.
In March 1987, Aerosmith began working at Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for the album that became Permanent Vacation. The recordings were completed in May, the album was released in August, and reached #11 on the Billboard 200. The album released several singles including "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" (#4 on the Mainstream Rock Charts, #14 on the Billboard Hot 100), "Rag Doll" (#12 Mainstream Rock Charts, #17 Hot 100), and "Angel" (#2 Mainstream Rock, #3 Hot 100).
Caught in the gridlock nose to tail across all lanes
Smog nearly chocking me as the car horns go insane
Patiently waiting to get their old jobs backs
Carrying the human race proudly on their backs
How easily forgotten,
How easily we're led
How hard the path is trodden
From when horsepower meant what it said
I've got a hundred horses hidden in between my wheels
But i can't put my foot down and jumped the fences in the field
Patiently waiting to get their old jobs back
How easily forgotten,
How easily we're led
How hard the path is trodden
From when horsepower meant what it said
And if we're keeping up with progress why am i standing still
Maybe we should take a walk and talk to the horses on the hill
How easily forgotten,
How easily we're led
How hard the path is trodden
From when horsepower meant what it said
How hard the path is trodden
