Incesticide

Incesticide is a compilation album by the American rock band Nirvana. Incesticide consists of their 1990 single "Sliver", demos, outtakes, covers, and radio broadcast recordings. At the time, the majority of the material on Incesticide was circulating within fan communities (albeit in lower quality). It was widely reported in the music press that the band wanted to offer fans a higher-quality alternative, but in the book Cobain Unseen, Charles R. Cross writes that Kurt Cobain agreed to the release of this compilation because he was allowed complete control over the album's artwork. The album was released on December 14, 1992 in Europe, and December 15, 1992 in the United States and eventually reached number thirty-nine on the Billboard 200. Since the songs were recorded in different sessions and some were recorded when Nirvana did not have a stable formation, the album includes recordings by four different drummers: Chad Channing, Dan Peters, Dale Crover, and Dave Grohl.

Local H

Local H is an American grunge duo originally formed by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas, bassist Matthew "Matt" Garcia, drummer Joe Daniels, and lead guitarist John Sparkman in Zion, Illinois in 1987. The members all met in high school in 1987 and founded Local H three years later.

After Sparkman's departure in 1991 and Garcia's departure in 1993, Local H signed a record contract with Island Records in 1994, where they would go on to release three albums. They became best known for their radio hit "Bound for the Floor", a single from the 1996 album As Good as Dead which peaked at No. 5 on the US Alternative Billboard Chart. The album As Good As Dead was also certified gold. Daniels was replaced by Brian St. Clair in 1999, and the group has since issued four further albums. Brian St. Clair's last show with Local H was in 2013. In November 2013 Ryan Harding was announced as the new drummer.

According to the band's Twitter account, its name comes from combining two R.E.M. songs: "Oddfellows Local 151" and "Swan Swan H".

Half Life

by: Local H

Three, four half-life, welcome the worst
Born to your station and your station's a curse
Daddy says, "Wait and see"
Ain't seen the sun since 1973
Half-life, fake your claim
Falling asleep and waking up is the same
Half alive and half dead too
Work is for suckers and the sucker is you
You know the lies they tell are told until they're true
You know they hardly ever, you know they hardly ever
(Yeah, I'm falling fast, I'm not gonna last)
Ya want it, they got it, it's your circumstance
You know the hardly ever give a leaper a chance
Half-life, half-life, half-life or nothing at all
Half-life and all fucked up
You're born with nothing better make it enough
Pat in the back kick in the teeth
Alcohol will be your only relief
You know the lies they tell are told until they're true
You know they hardly ever, you know they hardly ever
(Yeah, I'm falling fast, I'm not gonna last)
Ya want it, they got it, it's your circumstance
You know the hardly ever give a leaper a chance
Half-life, half-life, half-life or nothing at all
You know the lies they tell are told until they're true
You know they hardly ever, you know they hardly ever
(Yeah, I'm falling fast, I'm not gonna last)
Ya want it, they got it, it's your circumstance
You know the hardly ever give a leaper a chance
Half-life, half-life, half-life or nothing at all
You know the lies they tell are told until they're true
You know they hardly ever, you know they hardly ever
(Yeah, I'm falling fast, I'm not gonna last)
Ya want it, they got it, it's your circumstance
You know the hardly ever give a leaper a chance
Half-life, half-life, half-life or nothing at all
