Become (album)

Become is the first studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Seventh Wonder. It consists of nine tracks; however, the ninth track is unlisted and untitled.

2 Become 1

"2 Become 1" is a song by the English girl group the Spice Girls. Written by the group members, Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard during the group's first professional songwriting session, it was produced by Rowe and Stannard for the group's debut album Spice (1996). It was inspired by the special relationship that was developing between Geri Halliwell and Rowe during the writing session.

"2 Become 1" is a pop ballad, that features instrumentation from a guitar, an electronic keyboard, and string instruments. The lyrics focus on the bonding of two lovers, and also address the importance of contraception. Its Big TV!-directed music video, which features the group performing against time-lapse footage of Times Square in New York City, was completely shot against a green screen at a studio in London. The backdrop was later superimposed.

Released as the group's third single on 16 December 1996, it was generally well received by music critics and was a commercial success. It topped the UK Singles Chart for three weeks, becoming the group's third consecutive chart-topper, their second million-selling single, and their first Christmas number-one single in the United Kingdom. In July 1997, the song was released in the United States, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100, and receiving a gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It performed similarly internationally, peaking inside the top ten on the majority of the charts that it entered.

2 Become 1 (Jewel song)

"2 Become 1" is a song by American pop singer–songwriter Jewel from her fourth studio album, 0304 (2003). Written by Jewel and Guy Chambers and produced by Jewel and Lester Mendez (who co-wrote and co-produced 0304's two previous singles, "Intuition" and "Stand"), the song was released as the album's third and final single in December 2003. It failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 and all other Billboard charts except for the Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks, where it peaked at number thirty-three in late January 2004. The single also charted moderately in Australia at number forty-nine.

In 2008 the song was re-recorded and retitled "Two Become One" for Jewel's country album, Perfectly Clear, produced by John Rich.

Background and writing

"2 Become 1" was co-written by Guy Chambers who is best known for his songwriting partnership with Robbie Williams and produced by Kilcher and Lester Mendez. The song later appeared on her sixth album "Perfectly Clear" (2008) in a new country version that was re-titled, "Two Become One".

Reflexive pronoun

In language, a reflexive pronoun, sometimes simply called a reflexive, is a pronoun that is preceded or followed by the noun, adjective, adverb or pronoun to which it refers (its antecedent) within the same clause.

In English specifically, a reflexive pronoun is a pronoun that ends in self or selves, and is an object that refers to a previously named noun or pronoun. Reflexive pronouns take the same forms as intensive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, ourselves, itself, themselves, yourselves

In generative grammar, a reflexive pronoun is an anaphor that must be bound by its antecedent (see binding). In a general sense, it is a noun phrase that obligatorily gets its meaning from another noun phrase in the sentence. Different languages have different binding domains for reflexive pronouns, according to their structure.

Origins and usage

In Indo-European languages, the reflexive pronoun has its origins in Proto-Indo-European. In some languages, the distinction between the normal object and reflexive pronouns exists mainly in the third person: whether one says "I like me" or "I like myself", there is no question that the object is the same person as the subject; but, in "They like them(selves)", there can be uncertainty about the identity of the object unless a distinction exists between the reflexive and the nonreflexive. In some languages, this distinction includes genitive forms: see, for instance, the Danish examples below. In languages with a distinct reflexive pronoun form, it is often gender-neutral.

Myself (album)

Myself is the eleventh studio album of Taiwanese female singer Jolin Tsai (Chinese: 蔡依林). It was released on 13 August 2010 by Warner Music Taiwan. It was the best-selling female album of 2010 in Taiwan, with 65,000 copies sold in Taiwan. The singles, "Honey Trap" (美人計), "Nothing Left to Say" (無言以對) and "Love Player" (玩愛之徒), were the 2010 Hit FM Annual Top 100 Chart number one, number twenty, and number fifty-five singles. Tsai was nominated for a Golden Melody Awards for Best Music Video for the music video of "Honey Trap" (美人計).

2nd (The Rasmus EP)

2nd is an EP released by the Finnish rock band The Rasmus in 1996. It was originally released by the record label Warner Music Finland.

2nd is, just like 1st, often described as a regular single. Since the title is not a name of any songs from the album Peep (where all songs appears on), it counts as an EP.

Xeon

The Xeon /ˈziːɒn/ is a brand of x86 microprocessors designed and manufactured by Intel Corporation, targeted at the non-consumer workstation, server, and embedded system markets. Primary advantages of the Xeon CPUs, when compared to the majority of Intel's desktop-grade consumer CPUs, are their multi-socket capabilities, higher core counts, and support for ECC memory.

Overview

The Xeon brand has been maintained over several generations of x86 and x86-64 processors. Older models added the Xeon moniker to the end of the name of their corresponding desktop processor, but more recent models used the name Xeon on its own. The Xeon CPUs generally have more cache than their desktop counterparts in addition to multiprocessing capabilities.

P6-based Xeon

Pentium II Xeon

The first Xeon-branded processor was the Pentium II Xeon (code-named "Drake"). It was released in 1998, replacing the Pentium Pro in Intel's server lineup. The Pentium II Xeon was a "Deschutes" Pentium II (and shared the same product code: 80523) with a full-speed 512 kB, 1 MB, or 2 MB L2 cache. The L2 cache was implemented with custom 512 kB SRAMs developed by Intel. The number of SRAMs depended on the amount of cache. A 512 kB configuration required one SRAM, a 1 MB configuration: two SRAMs, and a 2 MB configuration: four SRAMs on both sides of the PCB. Each SRAM was a 12.90 mm by 17.23 mm (222.21 mm²) die fabricated in a 0.35 µm four-layer metal CMOS process and packaged in a cavity-down wire-bonded land grid array (LGA). The additional cache required a larger module and thus the Pentium II Xeon used a larger slot, Slot 2. It was supported by the 440GX dual-processor workstation chipset and the 450NX quad- or octo-processor chipset.
