I live life a little too close to the edge
You won't ever find a halo on my head
I still stand up for the things that I believe
There's times the devil on my shoulder gets to leave
Sometimes exactly what you see is what you get
You think you know me but you ain't seen nothin' yet
I look more towards the guture than the past
I still try to live each day like it's the last
CH: And I love black cars don't ever break
And I give much more than I take
Like the flowers growing wild
I believe in the promise of a child
Rainbows, Dreams and Butterflies
I find 27 hours i one day
No time to dwell on things that didn't go my way
I know there's something lost for everything that's found
I won't let the fear of falling hold me down
Colours leads to the dreams we chase
To spread your wings is a chance we must take
CH: And I love black cars don't ever break
And I give much more than I take
Like the flowers growing wild
I believe in the promise of a child
Rainbows, Dreams and Butterflies
