Jennifer Paige was born Jennifer Scoggins in Marietta, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. She is of English descent.[1] At the age of five she began singing at local coffeehouses and restaurants with her older brother Chance Scoggins. She continued on to the performing arts school Pebblebrook High School to study voice, dance and drama.
At the age of 17, she toured the country with a top 40 covers act, Vivid Image, and eventually relocated to Los Angeles. In August 1996, she performed in her hometown, Atlanta, in front of 50,000 people at the Olympic Games with the 10-piece covers band, "Joe's Band". The same year, Paige teamed up with producer Andy Goldmark. They began with a dance version of Aretha Franklin's classic, Chain of Fools. The record instantly came to the attention of the German indie label Edel Records, whose president, Jonathan First, was searching for a fresh-faced pop act to establish overseas presence. He was so impressed by Paige's talent that he flew to Los Angeles and gave her a record contract.
Her debut album Jennifer Paige was released in August 1998, and consisted of guitar-driven mid-tempo songs such as "Questions", "Between You and Me", "Get to Me", and "Just to Have You". Critics took notice of her voice, and Billboard magazine declared that "Paige succeeds in the nearly impossible task of oozing smouldering sensuality without resorting to typical groans and moans; instead, she uses her notably flexible vocal range to convey the emotion of the tune. As a result, she breathes a refreshing intensity into the song."[citation needed]
The lead single "Crush" was a hit, and was followed by two other singles, "Sober" and "Always You", the latter reaching #6 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
In the summer of 2000, Jennifer Paige recorded a new song for the soundtrack of the film Autumn in New York, called "Beautiful".
Jennifer Paige toured the world, sang for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican, was nominated for Best New Artist and performed at the World Music Awards, while promoting her music. Her second album Positively Somewhere was anchored by the single "These Days", and was released in September 2001 in United States. It wasn't noticed until its European and Asian release in Summer of 2002, due to bad timing and a lack of promotion by her American label.
The European release launched a modest hit, "Stranded". The single made an instant impact on radio in countries such as Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Scandinavia. Positively Somewhere cracked the Top 10 in Japan and both singles became radio hits across Asia.
In 2003 Edel released Flowers: The Jennifer Paige Hits Collection as a result of her parting ways with her record label. In October of the same year, Paige admitted she was no longer with either Hollywood Records or Edel Records. Paige continued writing for other artists, and compiling songs for a new studio effort. In April 2006, "The Calling", was chosen by Lifetime Television for their made-for-TV movie, "Augusta, Gone", based on the book of the same name. The song was written by Jennifer Paige and co-writer/producer Chris Landon of Loudnoize Entertainment.[2]
Paige began writing and recording her follow-up to Positively Somewhere in Ibiza, Spain. In 2007, Paige signed a record deal with indie company Glor Music Production. The album, titled Best Kept Secret was released on April 25, 2008 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The first single "Wasted" was released in March, experiencing success in Italy. Paige's official website announced "Underestimated" to be the second single from the album, and a music video for the single shortly followed. The third single was "Ta Voix (The Calling)" (duet with Lââm).
The album was re-released as a deluxe edition on November 20, 2009 featuring a few new surprises, including the new single, "Beautiful Lie" with Nick Carter, and a new version of "Crush" remixed by DJ Kore sung in French.
In 2010, Jennifer Paige announced that she had formed a band called "The Fury" together with Coury Palermo. Their debut single "Silent Night" released on iTunes November 30, 2010. The first album single from the duo "Losing You" is expected to be released early 2012, and followed by a full album in the summer. Paige is also preparing her 4th album.

Be-Free is a humanitarian organization in Bahrain that aims to protect children from abuse and neglect. It was started on 19 March 2002, with the support of the former Human Rights Commissioner Mary Robinson.
Be-Free has 3 phases, that started successively and are ongoing.
Phase 1- Empowering Children: This phase started with the launch of the program in March 2002, and concentrated on empowering children with the essential protection skills. Be-Free believes that children can be less likely to be abused if they have some of the essential protection skills, such as "my body is mine", "good touch and bad touch", "good secret and bad secret", etc. Therefore Be-Free trains children on these skills in a fun and interactive ways. A website was created for children to teach them these skills, www.be-free.info. Children and parents can contact Be-Free for counseling or inquiries through the website or the help email provided.
Phase 2- Supporting the Parents and Caregivers: This phase focuses on helping parents and caregivers on how to protect their children from abuse, and how not to abuse their own children.
"Be Free" is the sixth single released by Mexican singer Belinda, taken from her debut album Belinda.
It reached an unexpected #3 in Mexico, #62 in Slovenia and #99 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Belinda was the first Mexican artist who released a song in English and entered the Yugoslav charts. This song was written mostly to introduce Belinda to an English speaking audience, but the attempt failed; however she later achieved this by later starring in the Disney Channel original movie The Cheetah Girls 2.
Paige, Beiden)
If I had any luck in the world you and I would be
together
Cuz you roll in and shower me like rain in the middle
of the summer
You’re like a cool breeze blowing
Wanna feel the wind rushing through my hair
Cool breeze, cleanse me
All I know is I feel you everywhere
CHORUS
Every day’s a little better as long as I’m here in the
sunshine
Every day’s a little better as long as I’m here in the
sunshine
Lalala- lalalala
Maybe I’m just dreaming here to think you would
surrender
Cuz you stroll in like a sunny day in the middle of the
winter
Just like a cool breeze knowing
That you could fly away and leave without a care
Cool breeze, floating
All I know is I still feel you in the air
CHORUS
Every day’s a little better as long as I’m here in the
sunshine
Every day’s a little better as long as I’m here in the
sunshine
Lalalala- lalalala
Don’t go away, please stay
CHORUS
Every day’s a little better as long as I’m here in the
sunshine
Every day’s a little better as long as I’m here in the
sunshine
