Baynes Island is a group of three islets, connected at low tide, with a combined area of 1.62 ha. It is part of the Waterhouse Island Group, lying close to the north-eastern coast of Tasmania, in south-eastern Australia.
The Baynes Sounds reserve, between Buckley Bay and Union Bay on VancouverIsland, is about 35 acres in size and is easily accessible from the road at low tide.
