Pádraig Flynn

Pádraig Flynn (born 9 May 1939) is a former Irish politician. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) in 1977. He was returned at each subsequent election until 1993. During this time he served as Minister for the Gaeltacht (1982), Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism (1982), Minister for the Environment (1987–91), Minister for Justice (1992–93) and Minister for Industry and Commerce (1992–93). Flynn served as European Commissioner from 1993 until 1999. The Mahon Tribunal cited him as "corrupt" in its 2012 report, prompting him to resign from the Fianna Fáil party before he could be expelled.

Early life

Flynn was born in Castlebar, County Mayo. He is the son of Patrick and Anne Flynn. He was educated in St. Gerald's College, Castlebar and qualified as a teacher from St Patrick's College of Education in Dublin. His mother owned a small shop in Castlebar. He was married in 1963 to Dorothy and they have four children – one son and three daughters. One daughter, Beverley Flynn was also a Fianna Fáil politician.

Barry Orton

Randal Barry Orton (born May 28, 1958), better known as Barry Orton, is an American actor, musician, and former professional wrestler. He is the son of professional wrestler Bob Orton, brother of professional wrestler Bob Orton Jr., and uncle of professional wrestler Randy Orton.

Early life

Orton was born in Amarillo, Texas, the son of professional wrestler Bob Orton and his wife Rita. He moved to Kansas City, Missouri with his parents three days after being born.

Career

Orton made his pro wrestling debut in 1976. During his career in wrestling he competed in the WWF (1984-1988), ICW, WOW, the NWA, the IWF and Stampede Wrestling (where, while appearing as the masked Zodiac, he managed Jason the Terrible) he was mainly used as an enhancement talent.

In 1992 Barry's wrestling career pretty much came to an end. Although he was not employed by the WWF at the time, he was a key figure in the sex scandal that was filed against the company. According to Barry, in 1978 on a trip between shows while employed by a faction of NWA, Barry was traveling with a booker for the company, Terry Garvin.

O'Halloran

O'Halloran (also O'Halleron, Halloran, Haloran, and in Irish, Ó hAllmhuráin or Ó hAlluráin) is the surname of a Gaelic-Irish family. The name roughly translates as 'from beyond the sea.' The family motto is 'Clann Fearghaile Abú.' This comes from the Galway branch, clann Fhergail (the family of the men of the foreigner), whose territory was extensive around Lough Corrib.

The name originates from County Clare and County Galway, with the Clare branch having links with the Dál gCais clan.
