Baretta is an American detective television series which ran on ABC from 1975 to 1978. The show was a revised milder version of a successful 1973–74 ABC series, Toma, starring Tony Musante as chameleon-like, real-life New Jersey police officer David Toma. While popular, Toma received intense criticism at the time for its realistic and frequent depiction of police and criminal violence. When Musante left the series after a single season, the concept was retooled as Baretta, with Robert Blake in the title role.
Detective Anthony Vincenzo "Tony" Baretta is an unorthodox plainclothes cop (badge #609) with the 53rd precinct, who lives with Fred, his Triton sulphur-crested cockatoo, in apartment 2C at the run-down King Edward Hotel in an unnamed Eastern city (presumably Newark, New Jersey). Like his model David Toma, Tony Baretta wore many disguises on the job. When not in disguise, Baretta usually wore a short-sleeve sweatshirt, casual slacks, a brown suede jacket and a newsboy cap. He often carried an unlit cigarette in his lips or behind his ear. His catchphrases included "You can take dat to da bank" and "And dat‘s the name of dat tune." When exasperated he would occasionally speak in asides to his late father, Louie Baretta.

The Beretta 92 (also Beretta 96 and Beretta 98) is a series of semi-automatic pistols designed and manufactured by Beretta of Italy. The model 92 was designed in 1972 and production of many variants in different calibers continues today. The United States Armed Forces replaced the Model 1911A1 .45 ACP pistol in 1985 with the military spec Beretta 92F, the M9.
Beretta currently produces the pistol in four different configurations (FS, G, D and DS) and four calibers: 9×19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W, 9×21mm IMI and 7.65mm Luger.
The Beretta 92 pistol evolved from earlier Beretta designs, most notably the M1922 and M1951. From the M1922 comes the open slide design, while the alloy frame and locking block barrel (originally from Walther P38) were first used in the M1951. The grip angle and the front sight integrated with the slide were also common to earlier Beretta pistols. What were perhaps the Model 92's two most important advanced design features had first appeared on its immediate predecessor, the 1974 .380 caliber Model 84. These improvements both involved the magazine, which featured direct feed; that is, there was no feed ramp between the magazine and the chamber (a Beretta innovation in pistols). In addition, the magazine was a "double-stacked" design, a feature originally introduced in 1935 on the 9mm FN/Browning "Hi-Power".
From the moment I could speak, they told me
Sit and listen, if you wanna get by
Someday I'll grow up watch close or
You'll miss it, just don't ask why
Year two in this high priced school
Times flying, childhood I miss you
Two more to go, where will I end up? I don't know
They say life is what I make it
I say let's party, and let's do it naked
Lets do it naked!
Doesn't matter if they give it I would take it
They always told me life is what I make it
Work hard, no thanks I'd rather fake it
To me life's a party so let's do it naked
(Lets do it naked)
I'm sorry for everything I've done wrong
For every guy whose girl I tried to get with
For ever girl whose heart I've ever messed with
All the fragile hearts that I've ever tested
I'm bending pens with the passions of words
Showing the world what I think should be heard
I'm righting wrongs through these small minded songs
Could the problems I've made be cured?
Doesn't matter if they give it I would take it
They always told me life is what I make it
Work hard, no thanks I'd rather fake it
To me life's a party so let's do it naked
(Doesn't matter if they give it I would take it)
Yeah let's do it naked
(Doesn't matter if they give it I would take it)
To me life's a party to lets do it naked
It doesn't matter if they give it I would take it,
Life's a party so lets do it naked (x4)
Life's a party so let's do it naked!
