Banu Hakam ,or Banu Al-Hakam in Arabic بنو الحكم known also as Al-Hakam Ibn Saad Alasheera الحكم بن سعد العشيرة is an Arabian Tribe. Al-Hakam had governed Jazan which was known as Mekhlaf Al-Suleimani in Arabic المخلاف السليماني in reference to Prince Suleiman bin Taraf Al-Hakami, who lived in the 2nd half of the 4th H.C. Jazan has gone through many phases in the Prophetic Era to the Power Age by the end of the Abbasid State.
