The following is a list of fictional characters featured in the manga and anime series GetBackers.
Ban Midou (美堂蛮, Midō Ban) is one of the main protagonists in GetBackers. His name comes from his mother's surname "Midou" and the "Ban" from Japanese word for Savage (野蛮, Yaban). The "ban" can mean "barbarian" or "uncouth/vulgar". This is the result of the first meeting between Paul and Ban. When der Kaiser first introduced the infant Ban to Paul, Ban kicked Paul in the face while being held by him, causing Paul to insist that the Ban of Yaban suited the child perfectly. der Kaiser agreed.
Known variously as "The Man with the Evil Eye" (邪眼の男, Jagan no otoko) and "The Genius of Battles", he is the "B" in the GetBackers. He is 18 years old in the manga and 21 years old in the anime. He is one quarter German is the grandchild of the "Last Witch of the 20th Century". Ban is a brother-like figure to Himiko Kudo after she came to terms with her brother's death, and later it is revealed in volume 38 of the manga that Ban is actually related to her by blood through the Witch Queen.
Baní is a capital town of the Peravia Province, Dominican Republic. It is the commercial and manufacturing center in a region producing bananas and coffee.
The city of Bani is the capital of the Peravia province; its residents also know it as the home of poets. It’s only an hour’s drive west of Santo Domingo. The province’s population is relatively small with 169,865 people, and only 61,864 in the Bani metro area. This is a tightly knit community with families and neighborhoods dating back several centuries.
Bani is a Taino word meaning “abundant water.” The area was named after an important Taino leader of the Maguana people. He was said to be one of Caonabo’s closest allies. But, it wasn’t until 1764 when a group of neighbors concerned with their security and safety came together to purchase a property large enough to build their own village in the valley of Bani. Historians set the sum of this purchase as that of “300 pesos fuertes” for a property called Cerro Gordo; the principals were listed as Francisco Baez and Bartolome del Castillo.
An Ōban was a monetary ovoid gold plate, and the largest denomination of Tokugawa coinage. Tokugawa coinage worked according to a triple monetary standard, using gold, silver and bronze coins, each with their own denominations.
The first Oban – Tenshō Ōban (天正大判) – were minted by the Gotō family under the orders of Hideyoshi in 1588.
The Tenshō Ōban was equivalent to ten Ryōs, or ten Koban (小判) plates, with a weight of 165 g.
In Arthurian legend, Ban /ˈbæn/ is the King of Benwick or Benoic. He is the father of Sir Lancelot and Sir Hector de Maris, the brother of King Bors, and an early ally of King Arthur.
Ban's wife Elaine is the sister to King Bors' wife Evaine. Together they have Lancelot, but while travelling in Britain in support of Arthur, Ban sleeps with the Lady de Maris, who becomes pregnant with Hector, Lancelot's half-brother. Ban and Bors are eventually killed by their enemy, the Frankish king Claudas, and Lancelot is taken by the Lady of the Lake to her abode, where he is later joined by Bors the Elder's sons Lionel and Bors the Younger. When the children grow up and become Knights of the Round Table, they aid Arthur in finally defeating Claudas and reclaiming their fathers' land.

It was also shock resistant, anti magnetic and water resistant all in one which remained in the forefront for over three decades right through to the sixties. Mido attained yet another milestone the same year when it launched watches with unbreakable mainsprings. This was also the very first time that any watch manufacturer utilized this type of spring within the market place. During this time period, Mido used a Robot as its ambassador as a symbol of progress and robustness. A comic strip from this era featured the Mido Robot and its adventures.
Sinking and suffocating
The walls are crumbling from within me
Some thing's left best unspoken
And still this truth has broken me
I can't believe it's true
No one to blame but you
Fate less and feeling lonely
No tears for this, I'll only cry
To someone else, the lie
That there's no one else
A story only time will tell
I'm trapped inside a wishing well
Living as a ghost in my own hell
I'm trapped inside a wishing well
Enforce the years of hatred
For everything I know to be
The part of me
To many prayers unanswered
To many questions seen as sin
Just quietly give in
Well I never will again
A story only time will tell
I'm trapped inside a wishing well
Living as a ghost in my own hell
I'm trapped inside a wishing well
Just quietly give in
Well I never will again
A story only time will tell
I'm trapped inside a wishing well
Living as a ghost in my own hell
I'm trapped inside a wishing well
A story only time will tell
I'm trapped inside a wishing well
Living as a ghost in my own hell
