Bambino!

Bambino! (Japanese: バンビーノ!, Hepburn: Banbiino!, lit. "Baby") is a Japanese cooking manga written and illustrated by Tetsuji Sekiya. The manga has been serialized in Shogakukan's seinen magazine (aimed at older men) Big Comic Spirits. As of February 2009, Shogakukan has published 14 bound volumes of the manga. It received the 2008 Shogakukan Manga Award for seinen/general manga along with Takeshi Natsuhara's and Kuromaru's Kurosagi.

NTV broadcast the live-action TV drama from April 18, 2007 to June 27, 2007. It was broadcast in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico by TV Japan, an affiliate of NHK, from January to March 2008.

The Bambino is a breed of cat that was created as a cross between the Sphynx and the Munchkin breeds.

Background

The first litter of Bambino kittens was registered in 2005. It was registered by TICA in 2005 as an experimental breed, Experimental Bambino, in 2006. "Bambino" means "baby" in Italian, as to the cats appearance of making it look like a kitten.

The Bambino has short legs it inherits from the Munchkin, and huge upright ears. It has the hairlessness of the Sphynx, with skin of white or pink. With no fur to absorb the cat's natural oils, the Bambino needs regular bathing with water and mild soap. The Bambino's hairless skin means that the cat is vulnerable to cold, strong sunshine and skin injury.

Physical characteristics

The wrinkled hairless appearance and short legs are the breed's two most distinctive features. The back legs can be slightly longer than the front legs. The body is medium to long, with a broad chest and a well-rounded abdomen. Boning is medium. The whippy tail is in good proportion to the rest of the body. Some Bambinos can have a "lion tail"—a puff of hair on the tail tip. The head is a modified wedge with rounded lines, slightly longer than wide. As well as in the Sphynx, the cheekbones and whisker pads are very prominent. The whiskers are sparse and short. The chin is firm. The eyes are large, rounded, and wide spaced. The large ears are set upright, neither too low nor too high. The cat's size and unique physical qualities do not hamper its movements. The weight is 5 to 9 pounds.

Bambino (Dalida song)

Bambino was Dalida's first major hit, released as a single in 1956, and on the album Son nom est Dalida in 1957. It is a cover of the Neapolitan song "Guaglione", sung by Aurelio Fierro. The song was high on the French singles charts for months, scoring 45 weeks in the Top 10.

It also appeared in OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies, in 2006, sung in Arabic by Jean Dujardin.

Bambino (Hangul: 밤비노) is a four-member South Korean girl group formed by JS Entertainment in 2015. Bambino made their debut with the release of their single Oppa, Oppa on June 23.

History

Pre-debut

Bambino created their official Facebook on the 12th of September 2014 with a teaser picture of the four members and they started promoting themselves as a dance group under the name Bambino. They started performing at high schools and universities, dancing to songs such as Redfoo's "New Thang", EXID's "Up&Down", and Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk". Member Eunsol, in particular, has started to gain much attention and is called "the second Hani", because several fan-taken videos of her have garnered over a million views.

2015: Debut with Oppa, Oppa

On the 5th of June through their official Facebook, Bambino started to post teaser pictures announcing that they would have their debut on June with the single Oppa, Oppa. Bambino debuted with the single 'Oppa, Oppa' on the 23rd of June and held their showcase on the 27 at a venue in Dongdaemun, Seoul. Bambino were nicknamed 'Fancam Goddesses' for the fancams taken by fans.

Son nom est Dalida

Son nom est Dalida (lit. "Her Name is Dalida") is the debut album by French singer Dalida, released in 1957, by Barclay Records, catalogue number 80055. In 2002, Barclay Records, an imprint of Universal Music France, released a digitally remastered version of the original LP release in CD and 10" (25 cm) vinyl record (LP), under the same name, and also repackaged as Bambino, Volume 1. The album was again re-released in 2005, under the repackaged name of Bambino, Volume 1.

Content

The album contains Dalida's first hit single "Bambino" and her first song that was ever on a record: "Madona." Her style here is really more exotic than pop, a musical style which changes for her future 1950s-1960s albums.
