Bamm-Bamm Rubble

Bamm-Bamm Rubble is a fictional character in the Flintstones franchise, the adopted son of Barney and Betty Rubble. He is most famous in his infant form on the animated series , but has also appeared at various other ages, including as a teenager on the early 1970s spinoff The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show and as an adult in three made-for-television specials. Cartoonist Gene Hazelton contributed to the original model sheets for the character, and he has said that he based Bamm-Bamm's design on his own son, Wes.

Biography

Bamm-Bamm was adopted by Barney and Betty Rubble after they found him left in a turtle shell on their doorstep. After meeting his next-door neighbor Pebbles, the two became lifelong playmates. Bamm-Bamm's name came from a note left in the basket, causing Barney and Betty confusion over the strange name. This was explained when Bamm-Bamm yelled the phrase "bamm, bamm!" and swung his club. Bamm-Bamm's excessive (and sometimes misused) strength was often a source of humor in the episodes the toddler version of Bamm-Bamm appeared in. Unlike Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm was past the crawling stage and could be seen in a few episodes trying to help Pebbles walk.

Bam Bam (wrestler)

Jesús Guillermo Anaya Cortés is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name "Bam Bam", a Mini-Estrella, or "Mini" wrestler. Anaya made his professional wrestling debut in 2002 and has worked mainly for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where he is a former CMLL World Mini-Estrella Champion. He is the son of professional wrestler Popitekus, Jr. who also helped train him for his pro wrestling career.

Professional wrestling career

Jesús Anaya, born November 22, 1985, is the son of professional wrestler Popitekus, Jr. and from an early age knew that he wanted to be a wrestler like his father. Anaya made his professional wrestling debut at age 17, using the ring name "Bam Bam", inspired by his favorite cartoon character. Because of his size Anaya began working in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre's (CMLL) Minis division but he is not a dwarf. Anaya later received further training from Arturo Beristain and José Luis Feliciano, two of CMLL's trainers. As Bam Bam Anaya worked a series of storylines, or feuds with fellow Minis Pequeño Damián 666 and Pequeño Violencia that saw Bam Bam win a series of Luchas de Apuestas, or "Bet Fights", where Pequeño Damián 666, Pequeño Violencia and Pequeño Halloween all ended up with their hair shaved off. The storyline saw Bam Bam defeate Pequeño Damián 666 to win the CMLL World Mini-Estrella Championship on July 27, 2008. The storyline between Bam Bam and Pequeño Damián 666 resulted in Bam Bam being shaved bald after losing a Luchas de Apuesta. while the Minis division has been more active in 2008 and 2009 it has not resulted in more than a single title defense so far. Bam Bam was also left out of the 13 Minis Steel Cage that the main evented CMLL's La Hora Cero Pay-Per-View on January 11, 2009. Anaya has expressed a desire to one day move out of the Minis division and wrestle against "regular" wrestlers.

Red fox

The red fox (Vulpes vulpes) is the largest of the true foxes and the most abundant wild member of the Carnivora, being present across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America and Eurasia. It is listed as least concern by the IUCN. Its range has increased alongside human expansion, having been introduced to Australia, where it is considered harmful to native mammals and bird populations. Due to its presence in Australia, it is included among the list of the "world's 100 worst invasive species".

The red fox originated from smaller-sized ancestors from Eurasia during the Middle Villafranchian period, and colonised North America shortly after the Wisconsin glaciation. Among the true foxes, the red fox represents a more progressive form in the direction of carnivory. Apart from its large size, the red fox is distinguished from other fox species by its ability to adapt quickly to new environments. Despite its name, the species often produces individuals with other colourings, including albinos and melanists. Forty-five subspecies are currently recognised, which are divided into two categories: the large northern foxes, and the small, basal southern foxes of Asia and the Middle East.

Emmett McLemore

Emmett McLemore (September 12, 1899 – May 1973) was a professional football player who played in the National Football League during the 1923 season. That season he joined the NFL's Oorang Indians. The Indians were a team based in LaRue, Ohio, composed only of Native Americans, and coached by Jim Thorpe. Emmett was a Cherokee.

On December 2, 1923, McLemore recorded a touchdown to Arrowhead and made a field goal after a Joe Guyon interception. However he missed two extra point kicks in a 22-19 loss to the Chicago Cardinals. During that same game a McLemore punt hit a Cardinals' player and was soon picked up by Ted Buffalo for a score. A week later on December 7, McLemore caught two passes from Guyon for touchdowns in a 19-0 victory over the Louisville Brecks.

He spent the 1924 season playing in 4 NFL games with the Kansas City Blues.
