Baeza (Spanish pronunciation: [ba.ˈe.θa]), formerly also written as Baéza, is an Andalusian town in the province of Jaén in southern Spain. It lies perched on a cliff in the Loma de Úbeda, the range separating the Guadalquivir River to its south from the Guadalimar to its north. It is now principally famed for having some of the best-preserved examples of Italian Renaissance architecture in Spain. Along with Úbeda, it was added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 2003.
The town stands at a high elevation about 3 miles (4.8 km) from the right bank of the Guadalquivir in the Loma de Úbeda. Under the Romans, the town was known as Beatia. Following its conquest by the Visigoths, Beatia was the seat of a bishop between AD 656 and 675. This diocese had earlier been located at Castulo and appropriated territory formerly held by Tucci. The diocese was suppressed in 900.
Baeza reached its greatest prosperity under Islamic rule, when it formed the capital of an effectively independent kingdom and reached a population of around 50,000. Remnants of the Moors' fortifications include the town's Jaén and Úbeda gates and the Arch of Baeza. The Christian diocese was reëstablished in 1127 or 1147 following the town's conquest by Alfonso VII of Castile, but it was then reconquered by the Muslims and its cathedral adopted as a mosque. The town never recovered from the destruction endured upon its conquest by Ferdinand III of Castile in 1227 or 1239. The diocese of Baeza was merged with Jaén in 1248 or 1249, but continues to function as a titular see of the Roman Catholic Church.
Anthony Baeza, also known by his stage name Baeza, is an American rapper, hip hop producer, and songwriter from Fresno, California. By 2011 Baeza was releasing his own singles and music videos, and his first mixtape, Dough and Dro, came out in early 2013. He has toured throughout the United States as a headliner at venues such as the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Fresno, and after the late 2013 release of his Right on Time EP he was featured as an "artist on the way to the top" in The Fresno Bee. Currently signed to Empire Distribution, he has collaborated with hip hop artists such as Clyde Carson and Baby Bash, and in June 2015 he is due to release a full-length version of his The Man EP on EMPIRE Recordings. Baeza operates his own fashion line, Striktly Business, out of Fresno.
Anthony Baeza was born in 1993 in Fresno, California, where he also spent his childhood. He started making music at around age thirteen, picking up hip hop production as a hobby. He soon started rapping over his own beats, and by seventeen he had decided he wanted to pursue music as a career. Encouraged by family members such as his father, early musical inspirations included hip hop artists such as Tupac.
She said life ain't about smoking weed and fucking bitches grow up
Tears rollin' down my face heavily so I smoked one
I loved you girl I swear I did I never meant to hurt you
But what goes around comes around and I was in the circle
Now I'm feelin helpless, words can't explain my fuckin pain
But I don't expect for you to feel bad cause I put you through the same
My friends like 'Man lets hit the club' and right now gettin gone sounds pretty good
Cause I don't wanna think about you anymore
But whats love if it ain't worth dying for
I wasn't ready, I wasn't ready, I wasn't ready
So far from ready, far from ready, far from ready baby
Baby let me, Baby let me, Baby let me, tell you that I'm sorry
I wasn't thinking about you your right
Going out partying all night
It was wrong but it felt so right
But it ain't worth this crying
Remember four years back when we first met up at the movies
Thats when I fell inlove just me and you no groupies
I said my lips was chapped so you kissed me and I kissed you back
Everything fell in place, right after that
And I held you close and I loved you girl
I did the most and I loved it girl
You were number one, No one above you girl
I was blind towards all these other girls
Now you say that you don't even know me, I know I was wrong but fuck the old me
I Love You babe, Don't leave me lonely
I wasn't ready, I wasn't ready, I wasn't ready
So far from ready, far from ready, far from ready baby
Baby let me, Baby let me, Baby let me, tell you that I'm sorry
I wasn't thinking about you your right
Going out partying all night
It was wrong but it felt so right
But it ain't worth this crying
Yeah, three years passed and things started to get a little rocky
So we broke up and me and my ex started talkin
Didn't hear from you for like three months thought we was done for good but
I couldn't stand thinkin of you with some other dude
So I picked up my phone hopin I didn't wait too long
Cause I just miss hearin your tone and the love that we had was so strong
I told you I'd never leave you, So sorry that I decieved you
I hope you understand baby
I wasn't ready, I wasn't ready, I wasn't ready
So far from ready, far from ready, far from ready baby
Baby let me, Baby let me, Baby let me, tell you that im sorry
I wasn't thinking about you your right
Going out partying all night
It was wrong but it felt so right
But it ain't worth this crying
I'm so sorry, so sorry, so sorry baby
I wasn't thinking about you your right
Going out partying all night
It was wrong but it felt so right
But it ain't worth this crying
