Tim McMillan is a Canadian politician. He was elected to represent the electoral district of Lloydminster[1] in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan in the 2007 election. He is a member of the Saskatchewan Party.

McMillan grew up on a farm near Lloydminster – the same farm that his family homesteaded on over 100 years ago. He attended university in Victoria, British Columbia, where he graduated with a degree in Economics. During the summers of his university years, Tim worked for the British Columbia Forest Service fighting forest fires.[2] He has lived and worked as an IT professional in London, England.[2] Tim eventually returned to Saskatchewan to take over the family farm and raise his own family.
In the fall 2009 legislative session, Tim introduced a private members bill to protect the wild ponies of the Bronson Forest, which is in his constituency. The bill is called Bill No. 606, The Protection of the Wild Ponies of the Bronson Forest Act. It received royal assent December 3, 2009.[3]
Currently, Tim is the Chair of the Caucus’ Standing Policy Committee on Crowns and Central Agencies and the Chair of the Legislature’s Standing Committee on Crowns and Central Agencies. He is also a member of the Private Bills House Committee and a member of the Legislation and Regulation Review (Caucus) Committee.[2]
Tim and his wife, Ali, have two daughters: Reilly and Gracie.
