Bad girl art is the name for the superheroine art form trend that emerged during the early 1990s.
The term "bad girl art" was coined in the 1990s as an allusion and contrast to the "good girl art" movement that took place in the late 1940s. The "bad girl art" trend was derived from the visual styles first used by Image Comics' future founding artists such as Rob Leifeld and Jim Lee in the late 80s and was carried on by artists such as Jim Balent on Catwoman from 1994 to 1999 and Mike Deodato on Wonder Woman from 1994 to 1995 during the 1990s. The precursor of the trend was Vampirella, created by publisher James Warren in 1969.
The first bad girl character was Lady Death, created by writer Brian Pulido and artist Steven Hughes in 1992. Notable bad girls included Razor, created by Everett Hartsoe in 1992; Shi, created by Billy Tucci in 1993; Angela, created by Neil Gaiman in 1993; Rob Leifeld's Glory and Avengelyne, created in 1993 and 1995 respectively; Witchblade, created by Michael Turner in 1995, and the early 90s Harris Comics revival of Vampirella.

"Bad Girl" is a song recorded by American girl group Danity Kane. This song was penned by Mary Brown, Jim Beanz, Devin "DLP" Parker, Danja and Missy Elliott. Produced by Danja and featuring guest vocals by Elliott, it is not only the second and final single from the band's second studio album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, it is also the last release from the group before their early 2009 breakup, and the last with now-former members D. Woods and Aundrea Fimbres. Released on July 1, 2008 by Bad Boy/Atlantic, it did not do as well and the group's preceding single "Damaged", only peaking at 85 on the Pop 100.
The recording process of "Bad Girl" was featured on the second season of the MTV reality television show, Making the Band 4. They received the track only after revealing their dissatisfaction with the direction of their album to Diddy (their executive producer).
"Bad Girl" is a song by Japanese recording artist Meisa Kuroki from her debut extended play (EP), Hellcat. The song was one of the main tracks used to promote the album. A "movie version" of the song was included on the film's soundtrack, released simultaneously with Hellcat on April 8, 2009. The music video for "Bad Girl" was directed by Kensuke Kawamura.

She's not a bad girl she's just a sad girl
Please don't blame her for what she's done to me
I know it doesn't look too good for her and I suppose she's done the things you say
And I guess it's true I tried more than I should for her
But it's not her fault that she turned out that way
She's not a bad girl...
[ guitar - steel ]
Once she was the kind of girl you'd have her be
But I was foolish then and didn't care
The first of us to ever slip around was me
And to place the blame on her just isn't fair
She's not a bad girl...
Please don't blame her for what she's done to me
