Bad Dreams is a five issue comic series by Gary Winnick, the co-creator of Maniac Mansion. Funding was initially sought through a crowdfunding campaign in 2013, however the comic was ultimately published by Red 5 Comics. The first issue was in the list of the top six new comics and sold out in its first week of release. The five issues of Bad Dreams were released as a trade paperback on June 17, 2015.
Bad Dreams was Swollen Members second full length release on Battleaxe Records, released in 2001. Bad Dreams was a progression of the sound the group expressed on Balance leaning more towards the mainstream. "Take It Back" was the album's first single though the record didn't take off until the second single, "Fuel Injected" was released. "Fuel Injected" turned the underground rap group into household names overnight. The follow-up single "Bring It Home" was equally successful peaking at #3 on the Canadian Singles Chart, helping the record attain Platinum certification in Canada. The presence of Moka Only on the groups two biggest singles prompted him to join the group from 2002 to 2005. The 19th and 20th tracks are bonus tracks that appear on the 2002 reissue only. The reissue also sports an alternate cover similar to the original release. The original album also contains a hidden remix of "Take It Back" produced by Joey Chavez that appears after the end of "High Road". The song "Deep End" was featured on the video games Triple Play 2002, NBA Live 2002 and SSX 3 (the Utah Saints remix). Kludge magazine listed it as one of the 25 best albums of 2001.
Nok is a village in the south of Kaduna State, Nigeria. The discovery of terracotta figurines at this location caused its name to be used for the Nok culture, of which these figurines are typical, which flourished in Nigeria in the period 1000 BC - 500 AD. The artifacts were discovered in 1943 during mining operations. The archaeologist Bernard Fagg investigated the site, and with the help of locals discovered many other artifacts. Iron smelting furnaces were also found at Nok. Occupation dates far before the first iron smelting. A sample of carbonized wood found in the "main paddock" at Nok in 1951 was dated to around 3660 BC though there are questions about the reliability of this conclusion.

I have fell victim to you
Troubles I have seen, many years
From high windows I have called you
So come, save me from this fire
Forget all who hurt you, they don't know you
Come rest your tired body in my arms
From the bedroom I have called you
So come, save me from this fire
And I have bad dreams
I've done so many bad things
