It's About Time is the debut studio album by American female R&B trio SWV, released by RCA Records on October 27, 1992 (see 1992 in music). It was certified triple platinum by the RIAA for more than three million copies shipped to store, and it spawned four hit singles with "I'm So Into You", "Downtown", "Weak", and a remixed version of "Right Here/Human Nature." The latter two reached #1 on the R&B singles chart, with "Weak" being their biggest pop hit at #1. A remixed version of "Anything" appeared on the soundtrack of the film Above the Rim in 1994 and was released as the final single from It's About Time.

In 1993, the group earned 11 Billboard Music Award nominations for their debut album. In October 2004, I'm So Into You appeared in popular videogame Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing on fictional New Jack Swing radio station CSR 103.9.

In 1996, the album was certified 3x platinum, for shipping over 3,000,000 albums in the U.S. alone.[3] SWV first album It's About Time has sold 12.5 million units to date.

Downtown (owarai)

Downtown (ダウンタウン Dauntaun) is a Japanese comedy duo from Amagasaki, Hyōgo consisting of Hitoshi Matsumoto and Masatoshi Hamada. Formed in 1982, they are one of the most influential and prolific comedy duos in Japan today. They are best known for their stand-up acts, hosting numerous Japanese variety shows (such as Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! and Hey! Hey! Hey! Music Champ) and their sarcastic, short-tempered stage personas.

As a result of their massive popularity and the relative domination of their employer, Yoshimoto Kogyo, the Kansai dialect (in which both performers usually speak) has come to be associated with Japanese comedy (owarai) as a whole.

Background

Childhood and school years

Matsumoto and Hamada attended and met at Ushio Elementary School in Amagasaki, Hyōgo of the Kansai region. They did not become friends until their second year in Amagasaki Taisei Junior High School, where they both joined the school's broadcasting club and called each other Mattsun (まっつん) and Hama-chon (はまちょん). It is then Matsumoto joked about becoming a comedy duo together and planted the idea into their heads. At the time, Matsumoto was part of a manzai trio called "Koma Daisanshibu" with two of his classmates, Itō and Morioka.

Inner City (Budapest)

Inner City (Hungarian: Belváros; German: Innenstadt) is part of (and more or less equivalent with) the historic old town of Pest. Until 1949, Inner City was the 4th District. Today it is one of the two neighbourhoods of the District V of Budapest, Hungary, the other one being Lipótváros ("Leopold Town") which is the political and financial centre of Hungary. Budapest's main shopping street, Váci utca ("Váci Street") is located in the District V, as is the large part of the city's commercial life, banks and travel agencies. Many tourists start sightseeing there.

Today a colloquial definition of inner city (or city centre, both with lower case letters) also exists according to which the city centre of Budapest in a broader sense is bordered by the Grand Boulevard on Pest side of the city. In Buda (if it is also included), it is bordered by the continuation of Grand Boulevard by Margit körút, Krisztina körút, Budaörsi út and Bocskai út. The broader sense of the city center comprises the whole 5th district and some areas of the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 13th districts on the Pest side, while sometimes even some areas of Buda is also included, like part of the 1st, 2nd, 11th and 12th districts.

Felix (newspaper)

Felix is the student newspaper of Imperial College London. It won the Guardian Student Newspaper of the Year award in 2006 and 2008. The newspaper is published weekly during term time with approximately 30 issues per year, and is distributed around the various Imperial College campuses.

The FELIX motto, "Keep The Cat Free" (first adopted in 1974), refers to the policy of distributing the newspaper free of charge but more importantly to the tradition of free speech: unlike many students' newspapers Felix is free to criticise union policy whenever the editor sees fit, although during Spring Term 2008 Imperial College Union constitution controversially prevented some news articles from being published.

In addition to news, Felix also carries comic strips, features, opinions, puzzles and reviews, plus reports of trips and Imperial College sporting events. As a student newspaper, it is read by a large proportion of the student body, as well as other members of the Imperial College community. Consequently, it provides an opportunity for advertising to both students and staff.

List of Golden Sun characters

The following is a list of characters from Camelot Software Planning's Golden Sun series of role-playing video games, consisting of 2001's Golden Sun for Game Boy Advance and its 2003 Game Boy Advance follow-up, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, which deals with the efforts of opposing groups of magic-wielding warriors concerning the restoration of the omnipotent force of Alchemy to the fictional world of Weyard. Classified as Adepts of Weyard's four base elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, these characters possess the ability to employ a chi-like form of magic named Psynergy. Adepts among the common populace are few and far between the settlements of the game's world. The game's characters were created and illustrated by Camelot's Shin Yamanouchi.

Nicholas Felix

Nicholas "Felix" Wanostrocht (born 5 October 1804 at Camberwell, London; died 3 September 1876 at Wimborne Minster, Dorset) was a noted English amateur ("Gentleman") cricketer.

He is one of the few players who – at his request – was routinely known by his nickname, which was in effect a pseudonym. When his father died in 1824 he had inherited the running of his school, aged only nineteen, and he was afraid that the parents of pupils might think that cricket was too frivolous a pastime for a schoolmaster.

He was a specialist left-handed batsman, though he did occasionally bowl underarm slow left-arm orthodox. Felix was a mainstay of the great Kent team of the mid-19th century alongside such players as Alfred Mynn, Fuller Pilch, William Hillyer and Ned Wenman. In the words of the famous elegy, best loved of Bernard Darwin,

He played for Kent from 1830 until 1852. He also appeared for MCC and was a popular member of the All-England Eleven.

In his overall first-class career, Felix played in 149 matches and had 264 innings including 13 not out. He scored 4,556 runs at 18.15 with a highest score of 113. He made 2 centuries, 15 fifties and took 112 catches. It should be remembered when studying his batting average that he played at a time when prevailing conditions greatly favoured bowlers. Felix was rated very highly by his contemporaries.
