Baby, Baby (Nicole & Hugo song)
"Baby, Baby" was the Belgian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1973, performed in Dutch (with some lines in English, Spanish and French) by Nicole & Hugo.
In 1971, Nicole & Hugo had entered into the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest and won the final with "Goeiemorgen, morgen". Prior to their departure to Dublin for the contest, Nicole fell ill and the duo were unable to attend. They were replaced in their absence by Jacques Raymond and Lily Castel, but returned to the Contest with "Baby, Baby" in 1973.
The song was performed second on the night, following Finland's Marion Rung with "Tom Tom Tom" and preceding Portugal's Fernando Tordo with "Tourada". At the close of voting, it had received 58 points, placing 17th (last) in a field of 17. The backing singers include Belgium's 1968 Eurovision representative, Claude Lombard.
The song itself is a rather straightforward love duet, with the duo pledging their love to each other in a variety of languages (and making the somewhat unusual comment that "the divorce doesn't hurt at all"), however it has achieved something of a cult status among Contest fans.
Baby Baby (Amy Grant song)
"Baby Baby" is a pop song by American recording artist Amy Grant, issued as the first single from her album Heart in Motion. The song was written by Keith Thomas and Grant. It was released on January 18, 1991 through A&M Records and topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks in April, 1991, becoming the first in a string of hits from Heart in Motion.
Background
The music was written by Keith Thomas. Grant always knew the song would be a smash hit, and was begging Thomas to sing the song. He agreed with the only condition that the song's title must be "Baby Baby". Grant had a hard time writing the lyrics, because her early attempts to write a romantic-sounding lyric to a song with such title came off sounding like "some overgrown football jock with no vocabulary trying desperately to be romantic". But one day, after having seen her six-week-old daughter Millie, she said to herself: "Oh, baby baby". As a result, the lyrics were written in about ten minutes in her kitchen. In the Heart in Motion booklet there are words: This song is dedicated to Millie, whose six-week-old face was my inspiration. Millie would also appear on stage during Grant's performance at the 34th Grammy Awards.
Baby Baby (Corona song)
"Baby Baby" is a song by the Italian band Corona. The song is actually a cover of Joy & Joyce's 1991 hit, "Babe Babe" also produced by Lee Marrow, and was released in February 1995 as the second single from Corona's 1994 debut album, The Rhythm of the Night. Particularly devoted to the dance floors, it had a great success, reaching the highest positions in various Singles Charts around the world. It peaked at number-one in Italy and Canada, and number 5 in UK. In 2007, the Swedish dance group Sunblock made a cover of the song.

Chester (district)
Chester was a non-metropolitan local government district of Cheshire, England, with the status of a city and a borough.
Apart from Chester itself, which was the principal settlement, the district covered a large rural area. Other settlements included Malpas and Tarvin.
Creation
The district was formed on 1 April 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972, by the merger of the existing city and county borough of Chester with the Chester Rural District and Tarvin Rural District. The district council used the name Chester City Council.
City council
Membership and wards
The first council had 62 members and was elected as a shadow authority (known as Chester District Council) on 7 June 1973. The council came into its powers on 1 April 1974, on which date a royal charter and letters patent came into force with the authority becoming Chester City Council and the chairman of the council having the title of mayor. An election of the whole council was held again in 1976.
The number of councillors was reduced to 60 at the next council election in 1979. Thereafter the city council elections were "by thirds": with 20 councillors retiring in three out of every four years. In the fourth year, elections to Cheshire County Council took place.
Chester (Homeville, Virginia)
Chester is a historic home located near Homeville, Sussex County, Virginia. It was built in 1773, and is a two-story, three bay, frame dwelling with side gable roof. It features two exterior chimney stacks, joined on both the first and second floor levels by pent closets. Attached to the main section is a two-story wing with an exterior chimney and a shallow gable roof added in the 1820s.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.

Chester Transportation Center
The Chester Transportation Center is a SEPTA bus and train station in Chester, Pennsylvania. The outside portion of the ground level serves SEPTA City Transit Division Route 37, and Suburban Transit Division Routes 109, 113, 114, 117, 118, and 119.
Above the building of the transportation center is the train station. The tracks run over the building. The station is served by the Wilmington/Newark Line. The line offers southbound service to Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and northbound service to Philadelphia. This station is located at 6th and Welsh Streets, Chester, PA 19013.
History
Chester station was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1903. In the 1940s lots of NY-Washington trains stopped there; in 1970 one Philadelphia-Washington train stopped, and in 1978-83 Amtrak's Chesapeake stopped both ways between Philadelphia and Washington. PRR/PC/Conrail local trains to Marcus Hook/Wilmington/Newark continued until SEPTA took them over in 1983.
