In astronomy, the color index is a simple numerical expression that determines the color of an object, which in the case of a star gives its temperature. The smaller the color index, the more blue (or hotter) the object is. Conversely, the larger the color index, the more red (or cooler) the object is. This is a consequence of the logarithmic magnitude scale, in which brighter objects have smaller (more negative) magnitudes than dimmer ones. For comparison, the yellowish Sun has a B–V index of 0.656 ± 0.005, whereas the bluish Rigel has a B–V of –0.03 (its B magnitude is 0.09 and its V magnitude is 0.12, B–V = –0.03).
To measure the index, one observes the magnitude of an object successively through two different filters, such as U and B, or B and V, where U is sensitive to ultraviolet rays, B is sensitive to blue light, and V is sensitive to visible (green-yellow) light (see also: UBV system). The set of passbands or filters is called a photometric system. The difference in magnitudes found with these filters is called the U-B or B–V color index, respectively.

A voiced labiodental affricate ([b̪͡v] in IPA) is a rare affricate consonant that is initiated as a voiced labiodental stop [b̪] and released as a voiced labiodental fricative [v].

MP, Mp or mp may refer to:
MPEG-4 Part 14 or MP4 is a digital multimedia format most commonly used to store video and audio, but can also be used to store other data such as subtitles and still images. Like most modern container formats, it allows streaming over the Internet. The only official filename extension for MPEG-4 Part 14 files is .mp4, but many have other extensions, most commonly .m4a and .m4p. M4A (audio only) is often compressed using AAC encoding (lossy), but can also be in Apple Lossless format. M4P is a protected format which employs DRM technology to restrict copying. MPEG-4 Part 14 (formally ISO/IEC 14496-14:2003) is a standard specified as a part of MPEG-4.
Some devices advertised as "MP4 Players" are simply MP3 Players that also play AMV video or some other video format, and do not necessarily play the MPEG-4 Part 14 format.
MPEG-4 Part 14 is an instance of the more general ISO/IEC 14496-12:2004 (MPEG-4 Part 12: ISO base media file format) which is directly based upon the QuickTime File Format. MPEG-4 Part 14 is essentially identical to the QuickTime file format, but formally specifies support for Initial Object Descriptors (IOD) and other MPEG features. MPEG-4 Part 14 revises and completely replaces Clause 13 of ISO/IEC 14496-1 (MPEG-4 Part 1: Systems), in which the file format for MPEG-4 content was previously specified.
A member of parliament (MP) is the representative of the voters to a parliament. In many countries with bicameral parliaments, this category includes specifically members of the lower house, as upper houses often have a different title, such as senate, and thus also have different titles for its members, such as senator.
Members of parliament tend to form parliamentary groups (also called parliamentary parties) with members of the same political party.
The Westminster system is a democratic parliamentary system of government modelled after the politics of the United Kingdom. This term comes from the Palace of Westminster, the seat of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
A member of parliament is a member of the House of Representatives, the lower house of the Commonwealth (federal) parliament. Members may use "MP" after their names; "MHR" is not used, although it was used as a post-nominal in the past. A member of the upper house of the Commonwealth parliament, the Senate, is known as a "Senator".
B.V.S.M.P. was an American hip hop group, formed in the 1980s. The band consisted of Percy Nathan Rodgers, Calvin Williams and Frederick Eugene Byrd.
B.V.S.M.P. (short for Baby Virgo Shocking Mister P) is best remembered for the hit single "I Need You", which became a worldwide hit in the summer of 1988. It spent 12 weeks on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at Number 3 in July 1988. The background music and vocal was also sampled on the hit dance song, "The Electric Slide".
Goldie Lookin Chain's 2004 hit "You Knows I Loves You" is, in part, based around "I Need You", containing many of the same lyrics, for instance "I'm after your heart/Oh don't you see" (which on the B.V.S.M.P. original, concludes with "I'm not out to get your virginity", and on the Goldie Lookin' Chain version becomes "and your three kids doesn't bother me"), and "What's it gonna take to get your attention?" (which concludes with "You keep my mind hanging in suspension" on the original, and on the Goldie Lookin Chain version concludes with "track suit, gold chain and seven inch erection").

I have made a promise and I do my best to keep it
'Cause you kept your promise and you never asked for profit.
I want to repay you
baby
and be there for you
Any time you want me
any time you need me
Anytime
just call on me.
Any time you miss me
any time you're lonely
Call on me and I'll be there
yes I'll be there.
I'll do my best and nothing less
so come on
baby
make your
request
I'm here for you as you are for me
just say the world 'love' and
let it be.
Remembering walking very slowly in the rainy weather
You and I hand in hand
perfectly together.
Love was created when the words were spoken
And I made you a promise that won't be broken:
Any time you want me
any time you need me
You don't need to have a reason
any time of day
any time of
season:
Any time you want me
any time you need me
I'll do my best and nothing less
so come on
baby
make your
request
Any time you want me
amytime you need me
Any time you want me
anytime you need me
