Ayaka Wada (和田 彩花 Wada Ayaka, born 1 August 1994) is a Japanese pop singer signed to Hello! Project, who joined the project in 2004 as a member of Hello! Pro Egg. She is a member of Angerme and of the duo Peaberry, and was a former member of Shugo Chara Egg!.
Wada joined Hello! Project as a member of Hello! Pro Egg in June 2004. Wada continued her training and appeared at numerous Hello! Project concerts as a backing dancer, including the Country Musume concert Country Musume Live 2006: Shibuya des Date.
In November 2007, Wada received a part in the musical Reverse! Watashi no karada doko desu ka?.
Wada was selected to be one of the four members for a new Hello! Pro Egg unit alongside Yuuka Maeda, Kanon Fukuda, and Akari Saho. The group was called Shugo Chara Egg! and was formed to record the opening songs for the anime that Buono! sings for, Shugo Chara!.
Ayaka Iida (飯田 絢香 Iida Ayaka, born December 18, 1987), known mononymously as Ayaka, is a Japanese female singer formerly signed to Warner Music Japan. Born in Osaka, she moved to Tokyo to pursue a singing career. She married actor Hiro Mizushima on February 22, 2009.
In the summer of 2003, Ayaka began a live performance in her hometown of Osaka. In the spring of 2004, she started going to the music school "Voice", the principal of which is her former music producer Yoshihiko Nishio, in Fukuoka. She commuted between Osaka and Fukuoka every weekend and started to learn a songwriting under the direction of Nishio. She eventually transferred to another high school in Fukuoka. The demo of songs which she produced in "Voice" was soon brought to the music industry and led to her contract with Warner Music Japan.
In January 2006, Ayaka recorded "I Believe" as the opening theme for the Japanese drama Rondo. The full single was first released as a download-only single and went on to become one of the fastest songs to reach 1,000,000 downloads, as well as becoming the 3rd-highest-selling download debut single for a female artist.
