Ay Amor (Fonseca song)

"Ay Amor" (English: Oh My Love) is a Latin pop song by Colombian recording artist Fonseca. It was released as the third radio-single from his fourth studio album Ilusión (2011) on August 31, 2012. In October 9, 2012 the song was released digitally with a dance version produced by Fainal.

Music video

The music video was first released onto Fonseca's official YouTube channel on September 6, 2012. It was directed by Pablo García, whom had worked in the video of his last single "Eres Mi Sueño", and was co-directed by the same Fonseca. The music video was shot in Miami and features the Colombian actress and model Carolina Gómez, with a black long outfit and a blue wig. As of July 20, 2013 the video has reached 1,82 million views on YouTube.

Ay Amor (Ana Gabriel song)

"Ay Amor" ("Oh Love") is a ballad written and performed by Mexican singer-songwriter Ana Gabriel and produced by Mariano Pérez. It was released as the first single from her third studio album Pecado Original in late 1987. This song became the second to spend 14 consecutive weeks at number one in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart, after fellow Mexican singer Daniela Romo with "De Mí Enamórate", being surpassed in the same year by Yuri when her single "Qué Te Pasa" achieved sixteen weeks at the top of the chart.

"Ay Amor" is also recognized as one of Gabriel's signature songs and has been performed by several singers, including Tino y su Banda Joven, Jannette Chao, Keyla Caballero and Myriam.

Background

Mexican singer-songwriter Ana Gabriel, after ten years of preparation, received in 1984 the opportunity to participate on the Mexican Festival 'Valores Juveniles', in which she participated as a composer with the song "No Me Lástimes Más", and won second place in the contest. Following this victory she was called by CBS and was offered an exclusive contract. The following year, 1985, Gabriel participated in the OTI Festival with the song "Búscame", wrote with Tony Flores, and took the award for 'Revelation of the Year'. That same year she recorded his first album, entitled Un Estilo. In 1986 she participated again in the OTI with the song "A Tu Lado" and this time was recognized as 'Singer of the Year'. Finally, in 1987, Gabriel had her third chance at this festival with the song "Ay Amor", which earned the awards for Best Song, Best Singer and Best Composer, and the opportunity to represent Mexico at the Festival OTI International in Lisbon, Portugal, where she ranked third, in a tie with Spain.

El Rey is the eighth studio album by The Wedding Present. It was released in the US on May 20, 2008, by Manifesto Records, and on May 26, 2008, in the UK by Vibrant Records/Pinnacle Records. The album is the band's first album since 2005's Take Fountain. El Rey was preceded by the first single "The Thing I Like Best About Him Is His Girlfriend" as a digital download only.

Launched by Robert Rodriguez in 2013 in a deal with Univision, the station specializes in grindhouse-style content. Its bumpers and commercials use grainy visuals and a distinctive gravelly voice.

History

As part of its arrangement to acquire a majority interest in NBCUniversal, Comcast Corporation committed to carry several minority-owned channels. The arrangement followed pressure led by Maxine Waters in congressional hearings. In April 2011, Comcast solicited proposals for minority-owned networks. In February 2012, Comcast announced distribution arrangements for four networks, including El Rey. The four announced networks and six forthcoming stations are being chosen from more than 100 proposals to begin airing by 2020.

Karma (Tarkan album)

Karma is Tarkan's 2001 studio album. His fifth music project and his fourth original release, this album moved away from pop to worldbeat melodies fused with electronica sounds and became the all time third best selling album in Turkey. The album was recorded in Istanbul, Los Angeles, New York, Egypt and Europe. Album was published in Europe, North America, Asia, Japan, Russia. By 2001 more than 3.6 million copies of this album was sold worldwide. The tour "Kuzu Kuzu" which began in January 2002 was very successful as well and Tarkan performed in 19 countries and gave 26 concerts.
