Shane Dawson

Shane Lee Dawson (born Yaw; born July 19, 1988) is an American YouTube personality, actor, sketch comedian, singer, songwriter and film director. Dawson is known for making comedy videos featuring many recurring characters (such as Shananay, Ned the Nerd, S. Deezy, Mom, Aunt Hilda, Fruitlupe and recently Amy), celebrity impersonations (such as Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus and Sarah Palin), and spoofs of popular music videos and television shows. Most of his major productions were done with the help of producer Lauren Schnipper.

As of December 2015, his YouTube channel, ShaneDawsonTV, is the 129th most subscribed channel, having more than 7 million subscribers and more than 1.1 billion views. In March 2012, Dawson began pursuing a music career, releasing six singles. He has also released numerous music video parodies.

His podcast, Shane and Friends, starring him and his friend Jessie Buttafuoco (originally with his producer, Lauren Schnipper), was created in 2013 and is still ongoing. As of July 10, 2015, 45 episodes have been released, with multiple YouTubers and celebrity guests.

Askø

Askø is a Danish island north of Lolland. It covers an area of 2.82 km² and has 55 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2005).

In 1954, there were 170 inhabitants and one vehicle.

In 2014 energy company SEAS-NVE discovered a Neolithic boat in a submerged settlement as it replaced sea cables by Askø Island. The boat had split and sealing mass consisting of a strip of bark and resin was found in the hole.

Talk Radio (XM)

Talk Radio was a talk radio channel available on XM Satellite Radio. Owned by Clear Channel Broadcasting, Inc., Talk featured terrestrial radio show simulcasts and tape delay broadcasts from across the United States. Advertising sales are handled by Premiere Networks.

From 2001 to 2013, Talk Radio was one of eleven Clear Channel stations broadcast over XM Satellite Radio. During the second quarter of fiscal year 2013, Clear Channel sold off its ownership stake in Sirius XM Radio. As a result of the sale, nine of Clear Channel's eleven XM stations, including Talk Radio, ceased broadcast over XM Satellite Radio on October 18, 2013.

Ask! (2001-2006)

Ask! had always been an oddball in the XM talk lineup, trying to cater to the advice shows out there while at the same time not having enough of said subgenre of talk radio and having an overabundance of the other. While Ask! did carry plenty of experts/advice related shows like Dave Ramsey, Dr. Dean Edell, Coast to Coast AM, and Bruce Williams, other shows on the lineup like Paul Finebaum, G. Gordon Liddy's show and The Ed Schultz Show have never meshed too well with the rest of the lineup. Previously, XM channel 167 only carried part of The Ed Schultz Show and part of The Randi Rhodes Show, but to make room so that both left-wing shows could enjoy a full live show with only one liberal talk channel on the platform, Ask!'s Dr. Laura was moved over to America Right, despite not being a real right wing talk show, and was replaced with Ed Schultz on Ask!. For roughly a year, Ask! was often referred to in promos as Clear Channel 165. Eventually, the company realized that the name Ask! was becoming more irrelevant to the channel's content, and the name was changed.

Ask (horse)

Ask (foaled 23 March 2003) is a British Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. Unraced as a two-year-old, he showed some promise as a three-year-old in 2006, winning one minor race and finishing fourth in the St Leger. He improved in the following year despite running only three races: he won the Ormonde Stakes and the Cumberland Lodge Stakes and was narrowly beaten in the Canadian International Stakes. He won the Gordon Richards Stakes in 2008 but reached his peak as a six-year-old in the following year, winning the Yorkshire Cup, Coronation Cup and Prix Royal Oak a well as finishing third in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes. After a single, unsuccessful start in 2010 his racing career was ended by injury. He was then retired to become a National Hunt stallion in Ireland.

Background

Ask is a bay horse with a white star and snip bred at the Side Hill Stud in Newmarket by his owner the 11th Duke of Devonshire. He was one of the eighteenth crop of foals sired by Sadler's Wells, who won the Irish 2000 Guineas, Eclipse Stakes and Irish Champion Stakes in 1984 went on to be the Champion sire on fourteen occasions. Ask's dam Request, who failed to win in two races, was owned and bred by Queen Elizabeth II. She was a granddaughter of the Queen's outstanding racemare Highclere, who won the 1000 Guineas and the Prix de Diane in 1974 and whose other descendant include Nashwan, Unfuwain and Deep Impact.

Shane is a masculine given name. It is an Anglicised version of the Irish name Seán, which itself is cognate to the name John.Shane comes from the way the name Seán is pronounced in the Ulster dialect of the Irish language, as opposed to Shaun or Shawn.

Shane (TV series)

Shane is an American Western television series aired in 1966 and based on the 1949 book of the same name by Jack Schaefer (there had also been a 1953 film of the novel, Shane). The series starred David Carradine as the title character. The series, which aired on ABC, was filmed as a continuing story.
