As If (U.S. TV series)
As If is an American teen comedy-drama series that was put in place as a midseason replacement for Roswell and aired on Tuesdays on UPN after Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was based on the successful UK series of the same name. The cast of the series included Emily Corrie, who portrayed Sooz in the original UK version of the show.
Synopsis
The series focused on six friends in Los Angeles, with full episodes shot entirely from one perspective. Each episode presented different modern topics that applied to many teens of the day.
The series had very low ratings from the beginning. Seven episodes were produced, but only two were aired before the series was cancelled.

Singles
Three official singles have been released from As If: "All U Writers", a 5 1/2 minute (5 minutes on the album) long song featuring vocals from Teresa Eggers, released 28 April 2015. "Freedom '15", a groovy leviathan of a disco track, released 30 July 2015, and features vocals from Yolanda Harris Dancy and Taletha Manor. A lyric video for "Freedom '15" was uploaded 20 August 2015. The third single from the album, "Bam City", was released 30 September 2015, with an accompanying music video. "Ooo", a grooving love song, was released with an accompanying music video on November 16, 2015.
Promotional singles
One promotional single has been released from the As If: "Sick Ass Moon", an "R&B-tinted house track", released with "Freedom '15" on 30 July 2015.
Critical Reception
In a positive review for Exclaim!, Daniel Sylvester called the album "one of the most enjoyable, if schizophrenic, dance albums of the year."
Our Lady Peace
Our Lady Peace (sometimes shortened to OLP) is a Canadian rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario in 1992. Headed by lead vocalist Raine Maida since its formation, the band additionally consists of Duncan Coutts on bass, and Steve Mazur as lead guitarist. Longtime drummer Jeremy Taggart left the band in 2014, and a replacement drummer has not yet been announced. The band has sold millions of albums worldwide, won four Juno Awards, and won ten MuchMusic Video Awards — the most MMVAs ever awarded to any artist or group. Our Lady Peace are one of Canada's most popular bands, they were also one of the few Canadian rock acts to actually achieved success in both decades of the 90s and 2000s.
They have released eight studio albums, one live album, and two compilation albums to date, with their 1997 album Clumsy often being considered their signature and most widely recognized work. Our Lady Peace enjoyed many hit singles, ranging from "Starseed" in 1994, to "Somewhere Out There" in 2002.
As If! (EP)
As If! is the debut extended play (EP) by American recording artist Sky Ferreira. It was released on March 22, 2011 by Capitol Records, in place of her frequently-delayed debut studio album, which eventually became Night Time, My Time (2013). Its lead single "Sex Rules" was released on March 1, 2011.
Background
Ferreira, who had been in contact with music from an early age, started recording professionally when she was 14. This move was done by Ferreira after going to a Daft Punk concert, which she credited with having "changed [her] life"; she also started going to nightclubs and listening to dance music. From there on, Ferreira began making several demos with friends on audio-specializing program GarageBand, and uploading them onto her MySpace account.
Ferreira also featured a remix of the song "Teen Lovers" by American band The Virgins, produced by The Shoes and gained attention online peaking atop The Hype Machine chart. After the production duo Bloodshy & Avant noticed them, Ferreira was introduced to several "major" record labels which became interested in signing her, as well as producers who wanted to work with her. That interest led to a bidding war between several labels, who according to Ferreira, viewed her as a "way of making money".
