Arundel Mills

Arundel Mills is a mall located in Hanover, Maryland (south of Baltimore, near BWI Airport) and is owned by Simon Property Group. With its 1,630,000 sq ft (151,000 m²) GLA, it is the largest mall in the state of Maryland. The mall is located at the intersection of Maryland Route 100 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Maryland Route 295) in northwestern Anne Arundel County (hence the name "Arundel" Mills).

Arundel Mills opened in November 2000. It is the first enclosed mall to feature a Medieval Times dinner theater. In addition to 17 large anchor stores, Arundel Mills also features a Dave & Buster's, Maryland Live! Casino, and an Egyptian-themed 24-screen megaplex theater. The movie theater was the only outlet of its Muvico chain in the state of Maryland before being sold to Cinemark in March 2009.

The mall's interior layout features a "racetrack" design or, more noticeably, the outline of a boat. Mall sponsors are Toyota, The Baltimore Sun, Comcast, Discover Card, and Coca-Cola. Arundel Mills has over 225 stores.

Arundel (/ˈærəndəl/ or local /ˈɑːndəl/) is a market town and civil parish in a steep vale of the South Downs, West Sussex, England. It lies 49 miles (79 km) SSW of London, 18 miles (29 km) WNW of the English Channel town of Brighton, and 10 miles (16 km) east of the county town of Chichester. Larger nearby towns include Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis. The much-conserved town with large green buffers has a medieval castle and Roman Catholic cathedral. Although smaller in population than most other parishes, Arundel has a museum and comes second behind much larger Chichester in its number of listed buildings in West Sussex. The River Arun runs through the eastern side of the town.

Arundel was one of the boroughs reformed by the Municipal Reform Act 1835. From 1836-1889 the town had its own Borough police force with a strength of three. In 1974 it became part of the Arun district, and now is a civil parish with a town council.

Arundel (UK Parliament constituency)

Arundel was twice a parliamentary constituency in the Kingdom of England, the Kingdom of Great Britain, and the United Kingdom. The first incarnation strictly comprised the town centre of Arundel and was a borough constituency in Sussex first enfranchised in 1332 and disfranchised in 1868 under the Reform Act 1867. Arundel initially elected two members, but this was reduced to one in 1832 by the Great Reform Act.

The second incarnation of the seat comprised also the area surrounding Arundel, including Littlehampton. It was created by the Boundary Commission in the 1974 boundary changes, and existed until 1997. This Arundel seat elected only one member. The territory previously covered by Arundel was split between Arundel & South Downs and Bognor Regis & Littlehampton constituencies.
