Aron Baron (Russian: Аро́н Дави́дович Ба́рон; 1 July 1891 - 12 August 1937) was an anarcho-syndicalist revolutionary and theorist, brother of the Red Cossacks Army Ataman Mikhail Baron. Pseudonyms included Faktorovich, Kantorovich, Polevoy.
Baron was born into a petty bourgeois family of eight in Gnilets, Kiev Governorate on 1 July 1891 to David (who was born Faktorovich and changed his surname to avoid military service), a jurist, and Mindel (née Rabinovich), a housewife. While still a school student, working as a baker, he joined the anarchist movement and took part in the 1905 Revolution. In 1907, as a member of the baker's union of Kiev, he was arrested and exiled.
In 1912, Baron fled to the USA, settled in Chicago and joined the Industrial Workers of the World. While staying with the family of his brother Newman, he met his wife's sister, Fanya Grefenson, who became Baron's companion and fellow activist. Baron started working as a co-editor of Lucy Parsons' weekly anarchist newspaper, The Alarm and cooperated with the Union of Russian Workers. While living in Chicago, Baron regularly took part in demonstrations organised by American workers, also becoming involved with Russian and Jewish trade unions and anarchist groups. In January 1915, Baron and his wife led a march against unemployment, clashing with police and being severely beaten. His political activism led to prison terms several occasions.
Baron is a title of honour, often hereditary, and ranks as one of the lower titles in the various nobiliary systems of Europe. The female equivalent is Baroness.
The word baron comes from the Old French baron, from a Late Latin baro "man; servant, soldier, mercenary" (so used in Salic Law; Alemannic Law has barus in the same sense). The scholar Isidore of Seville in the 7th century thought the word was from Greek βαρύς "heavy" (because of the "heavy work" done by mercenaries), but the word is presumably of Old Frankish origin, cognate with Old English beorn meaning "warrior, nobleman". Cornutus in the first century already reports a word barones which he took to be of Gaulish origin. He glosses it as meaning servos militum and explains it as meaning "stupid", by reference to classical Latin bārō "simpleton, dunce"; because of this early reference, the word has also been suggested to derive from an otherwise unknown Celtic *bar, but the Oxford English Dictionary takes this to be "a figment".
Baron is a title of nobility.

It flows in a southerly direction, through the towns Châtillon-en-Bazois and Cercy-la-Tour, and empties into the Loire in the city of Decize. Much of its length, from Châtillon-en-Bazois to Decize, the river flows parallel to the Canal du Nivernais.

Aron the Rogue Watcher is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is depicted as an extraterrestrial supervillain of the race known as the Watchers, in the fictional Marvel Universe.
Aron originally dwelt upon the Watchers' homeworld with the other members of his race. He observed Captain Mar-Vell and Rick Jones battling Mad-Eye, and then attended the trial of Uatu. Aron was seen alongside Uatu again later.
Aron decided to forsake the Watchers' oath and actively participate in events on Earth, becoming an instigator and manipulator. He set Dragon Man against She-Hulk and She-Thing, and obtained cell samples from the Thing and She-Thing. Aron observed the Fantastic Four battling Graviton, and witnessed the events of Inferno. Aron was in turn observed by Necrodamus. Aron then joined forces with the Frightful Four against the Fantastic Four, but soon quit the Frightful Four. Aron created clones of the Fantastic Four and She-Thing, and imprisoned the real Fantastic Four and Frightful Four members in suspended animation, and watched their dreams. He replaced the real Fantastic Four with his clones, and set them against the Mole Man. Aron continued to engineer "adventures" for his clones, causing them to appear as criminals. The clones battled the Avengers and Doctor Strange, and were ultimately defeated by the real Fantastic Four after the originals broke free. Aron settled for watching the dreams of the clones instead.
