Alisa Mizuki

Alisa Mizuki (観月 ありさ, Mizuki Arisa, born December 5, 1976) is a Japanese actress, singer, and model. Mizuki is represented by the talent agency Vision Factory. Born in Nerima, Tokyo to a Japanese father and Japanese-American mother, Mizuki began modelling for magazines and appearing in commercials at the age of four.

On 21 March 2015, she announced that she married Koji Aoyama, a president of a construction company.

History

She first appeared in television series in 1983, but made her official acting debut in 1991, in the Fuji TV drama Mō Dare mo Aisanai. In 1992, Mizuki landed her first leading role in the Fuji TV drama Hōkago. She later starred in the popular series Nurse no Oshigoto, which, after producing four seasons, was also made into a film, Nurse no Oshigoto: The Movie (2002). Mizuki won the Japan Academy Award for Best Newcomer for her performance in Chō Shōjo Reiko (1991) and later earned a Japan Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role in Bokunchi (2003).

Arisa

Rosalba Pippa (born 20 August 1982), better known by her stage name Arisa, is an Italian singer and actress.

Biography

Arisa was born in Genoa, Italy. A week after her birth, her family moved back to their original hometown, Pignola, a village a few kilometres far from Potenza. Her artistic name is an acronym of her family members' names: A from her father, Antonio; R from her own name, Rosalba; I and S from her sisters, Isabella and Sabrina; and A from her mother, Assunta.

In 1999, she won the first prize in the Cantacavallo competition in Teggiano for her remarkable singing ability. The president of the jury, journalist and writer Bianca Fasano, personally delivered the cup.

Arisa rose to fame after her participation in the Sanremo Music Festival 2009. She placed first in the newcomers' section and won the 'Mia Martini' Critics Award with her entry, "Sincerità". In early 2009, she released her first album titled "Sincerità". In January 2010 she released her second album "Malamoreno". In late 2011 she starred as judge in the fifth season of the Italian version of The X Factor, broadcast on Sky Uno.

The Perhapanauts

The Perhapanauts is an American comic book series created by writer Todd Dezago and artist Craig Rousseau in 2005.

The first two mini-series, "First Blood" and "Second Chances," were published by Dark Horse Comics, although it was announced on October 31, 2007, that forthcoming Perhapanauts comics would be published by Image Comics.

Plot

The Image Comics series began with an annual in February 2008, "Jersey Devil", followed by what may either be numerous upcoming mini-series or an ongoing series. The first series is "Triangle" taking the team into the Bermuda Triangle, which starts publication in April 2008.

The story follows a team of supernatural investigators (in that they both investigate the supernatural, and are supernatural beings who investigate) working for Bedlam, a top-secret government agency. The main focus of the stories are on Blue Group, one team of Bedlam operatives.

The members of Blue Group are Arisa Hines, the group's leader who has psychic powers; Big, a Sasquatch whose intelligence has been artificially raised; Choopie, a Chupacabra with a somewhat erratic personality; MG, a mysterious being who appears human but has the power to travel to other dimensions; and Molly MacAllistar, a ghost. Other characters in the series include Joann DeFile, a psychic who works as an adviser for Bedlam; Peter Hammerskold, a former Marine with psychic powers who is the leader of Bedlam's Red Group and sees Blue Group as rivals; the Merrow, a water elemental fairy who works on Red Group; and Karl, a Mothman who is a Bedlam reservist and would like to be a full-time member of Blue Group.

Arisa (album)

Arisa is the debut studio album by Japanese recording artist Arisa Mizuki, released through Nippon Columbia on December 4, 1991. Arisa is predominately a pop music album. It is written by an array of famous Japanese musicians, including Amii Ozaki, Princess Princess vocalist Kaori Okui, Takeshi Kobayashi, Tetsuya Komuro, and The Alfee guitarist Toshihiko Takamizawa. In its review of the album, CDJournal described Arisa as an "idol record" that can appeal to actual music lovers. The online magazine praised Mizuki's vocal ability for being "far greater than the typical teenager" and noted that the only apparent flaw was the album's lack of cohesion.

The album spawned three singles, "Densetsu no Shōjo," "Eden no Machi," and "Kaze no Naka de," all of which were top ten hits. The original version of "Densetsu no Shōjo" is not featured on the album, instead an extended album version was included. Arisa debuted at number 8 on the Oricon Weekly Albums chart, selling 49,950 copies in its first week.
