The eighth season of CSI: Miami premiered on CBS on September 21, 2009 and ended May 24, 2010. The series stars David Caruso and Emily Procter.

Description

It's all change during the eighth season of CSI: Miami as the team face the loss of one of their own and flash back to 1997. Delko departs joining the States Attorneys Office as an investigator, forcing him to return to the lab undercover, Calleigh finds herself facing death once again, as the spirit of a victim helps her solve his own homicide, Horatio's ex-girlfriend is killed in an explosion, whilst the crime lab comes under siege from hostage takers. It's ultimately high-tech crime that cripples the team this season, however, as they are methodically taken down by a serial killer they are hunting, with one CSI paying the ultimate price.

Bad Seed (Jan Howard song)

"Bad Seed" is a single by American country music artist Jan Howard. Released in September 1966, the song reached #10 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. The single was later released on an album of the same name in 1966. The song was written by fellow country artist Bill Anderson.

In addition, "Bad Seed" became Howard's final top ten Billboard solo single of her career. The remainder of her top ten hits would come from collaborations with Bill Anderson.

Warriorz

Warriorz is the fourth full-length studio album released by M.O.P., a hip hop duo composed of emcees Billy Danze and Lil' Fame. The album was released on October 10, 2000. Despite the growing popularity of M.O.P., this album marked their last major-label-affiliated release until Foundation in 2009, as Loud Records folded in 2002. Warriorz is M.O.P.'s most successful album by far. It debuted 65 places higher on the Billboard 200 charts than its previously highest-selling album, First Family 4 Life.

This album spawned the radio hit "Ante Up", which subsequently spawned a remix that also featured Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, and M.O.P. associate Teflon. The popularity of the song was so widespread, it was featured in a few films within years of its release. "Ante Up" appeared in the motion pictures The Last Castle, Brown Sugar, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, the dance film You Got Served, and 30 Minutes or Less. The song was also featured in an episode of the short lived television series Robbery Homicide Division, as well as an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine ("The Chopper") and an episode of The Mindy Project ("In the Club").

The Bad Seed

The Bad Seed is a 1954 novel by American writer William March, the last of his major works published before his death.

Nominated for the 1955 National Book Award for Fiction, The Bad Seed tells the story of a mother's realization that her young daughter has committed a murder, or two. Its enormous critical and commercial success was largely realized after March's death only one month after publication.

In 1954 the novel was adapted into a successful and long-running Broadway play by Maxwell Anderson, and in 1956 into an Academy Award-nominated film directed by Mervyn LeRoy.

Plot summary

Eight-year-old Rhoda Penmark appears to be what every little girl brought up in a loving home should be. Outwardly, she is charming, polite and intelligent beyond her years. To most adults, she's every parent's dream: obedient, well groomed, unassuming and compliant. She does her homework on time, gets good grades and attends Sunday school each and every week. However, most children who know Rhoda keep their distance from her, sensing that there is something not quite right about her.
