Annunciation (van Eyck, Washington)
The Annunciation is an oil painting by the Early Netherlandish master Jan van Eyck, from around 1434-1436. It is in the National Gallery of Art, in Washington D.C. It was originally on panel but has been transferred to canvas. It is thought that it was the left (inner) wing of a triptych; there has been no sighting of the other wings since before 1817. It is a highly complex work, whose iconography is still debated by art historians.
The picture depicts the Annunciation by the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary that she will bear the son of God (Luke 1:26-38). The inscription shows his words: AVE GRÃ. PLENA or "Hail, full of grace...". She modestly draws back and responds, ECCE ANCILLA DÑI or "Behold the handmaiden of the Lord". The words appear upside down because they are directed to God and are therefore inscribed with a God's-eye view. The Seven gifts of the Holy Spirit descend to her on seven rays of light from the upper window to the left, with the dove symbolising the Holy Spirit following the same path; "This is the moment God's plan for salvation is set in motion. Through Christ's human incarnation the old era of the Law is transformed into a new era of Grace".
Washington (footballer)
Washington Stecanela Cerqueira, or simply Washington (born April 1, 1975 in Brasília), is a retired association footballer who played striker.
Career
In Turkish league 2002–2003 season he scored 10 goals in 17 games and then he was released by Fenerbahçe because of his health problems.
Washington was submitted to a coronary catheterization. Once recovered, physicians told him that playing football would not represent a risk to his condition. Then he signed with Atlético Paranaense where he was 2004 Série A top-scorer with 34 goals and broke the league's record. For his recovery, he was dubbed Coração Valente, the title of the movie Braveheart in Brazil.
In 2005 he moved to Japan to play for Tokyo Verdy in the J. League Division 1. He had a successful season there with 22 goals in 33 games but could not save his club from relegation. In 2006 he transferred to Urawa Red Diamonds and helped the Reds win their first ever J. League Division 1 title, becoming the top scorer in the league with 26 goals in 26 games. In 2007, he became 2007 FIFA Club World Cup top scorer and his team finished in third place.
Washington Railroad Station
Washington Railroad Station, was located in Washington, New Jersey. The station was built in 1900 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 3, 1979. The station was demolished in 1982.

Washington station (CTA Blue Line)
Washington (also Washington/Dearborn) is a rapid transit station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system. It is situated between the Clark/Lake and Jackson stations on the Milwaukee-Dearborn subway segment of the Blue Line in downtown Chicago near the Richard J. Daley Center.
History
Washington opened on February 25, 1951, as part of the new Milwaukee-Dearborn subway, the second of a planned series of subways to be constructed in Chicago. The station was entirely renovated from 1982 to 1984. As constructed, the station had two stairways to a lower level pedestrian transfer tunnel to the Washington station in the State Street Subway (now part of the Red Line). At 12:00 a.m. on October 23, 2006, the lower level transfer tunnel to the Red Line was closed as part of the construction of a planned superstation under what is commonly referred to as Block 37. On November 20, 2009, the pedway linking the Lake station's unpaid area to that of Washington reopened and in May 2013, the CTA provided a farecard transfer through the pedway between the stations.
Van
A van is a kind of vehicle used for transporting goods or people. Depending on the type of van it can be bigger or smaller than a truck and SUV, and bigger than an automobile. There is some varying in the scope of the word across the different English-speaking countries. The smallest vans, minivans, are commonly used for transporting people from a family. Larger vans with passenger seats are used for institutional purposes, such as transporting students. Larger vans with only front seats are often used for business purposes, to carry goods and equipment. Specially-equipped vans are used by television stations as mobile studios. Postal services and courier companies use large step vans to deliver packages.
Word origin and usage
Van meaning a type of vehicle arose as a contraction of the word caravan. The early records of van as a vehicle in English are in the mid 19th century meaning a covered wagon for transporting goods (earliest reported record 1829). Caravan with the same meaning has records since the 1670s. A caravan, meaning one wagon, had arisen as an extension or corruption of caravan meaning a convoy of multiple wagons.
Mega Man ZX
Mega Man ZX, known in Japan as Rockman ZX (ロックマンゼクス), is a video game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Nintendo DS handheld game console. Plot
Two centuries after the events of Mega Man Zero series, in the year 25XX, humans and Reploids now coexist peacefully. After some time of peace and prosperity; humans, reploids, and the humanoids (cyborgs in the Mega Man ZX universe) of Earth manage to revive some of the former Nations. After which, several incidents of reploids becoming Mavericks. The Mavericks made several areas dangerous. Trading between nations became obstructed, which caused the nations to become divided into utopian cities such as "Innerpeace." These cities became safe havens for peaceful reploids, humans and humanoids. The dangerous Mavericks known as Mechaniloids began to appear in the outlands and threatened the peace. The utopian cities and the outlands were divided into separate Areas and remarkable developments were made due to the efforts of the corporation Slither Inc. Slither Inc. possessed technology unearthed from ruins in the Outlands. Peaceful life in Innerpeace is maintained by using the technology offered by Slither Inc. Still, Maverick attacks occur in the frontier regions, which are more exposed to the enemy. To repel the attacks, the humanoids in these areas developed an organization devoted to the defending their region. This organization is known as the Guardians. The Guardians defend the Outlands and investigate the cause of the Maverick attacks. The original leader of the Guardians disappears during the investigation of an Outlands area.
