Anjali Bansal is Managing Director and Partner at TPG Growth. Ms. Bansal’s responsibilities include building TPG Growth’s market presence and investment capabilities in India, as well as developing the Operations and human capital-related capabilities of its portfolio companies across Asia and Africa. Previously, Anjali served as founding Managing Director of the India business of Spencer Stuart, the global executive search and leadership consulting firm, during which time she also co-led the firm’s Asia Pacific Board and CEO practice. Earlier, Anjali was a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company, the global management consulting firm, in New York and Mumbai.
She completed her graduation in Computer Engineering from Gujarat University. After a brief stint at Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Following her tenure at ISRO, Anjali completed her post-graduation, with distinction, in International Affairs from Columbia University, where she majored in International Finance and Business.

The story revolved around the girl Anjali. She was a girl who was brought up from a rather poor family. Ashok was a rich guy who fell in love with Anjali. He was very adamant and at point of time, he succeeded in marrying her. Anjali's father was happy that a rich guy had married his daughter. He was also the son of his employer. Ashok's dad I was not so happy in this marriage, but he accepted for the sake of his son’s happiness. After their marriage, Anjali moved into Ashok's house and one day end up seeing Ashok's father strangling his sister. The story took a turn, when Anjali knew that a girl was after Ashok and the mystery about the girl she was having. Anjali was shocked about this. The rest of the story was about her finding the truth and about the way Ashok dealt with the situation. The serial was watched by the audience with interest and they were curious about the turns and twists. The suspense was about the connection between Ashok and the child. The story was knitted in a such way that it made the viewers remain astonished at the end of every episode.
Anjali is a 1990 Tamil language feature film directed by Mani Ratnam. It stars Raghuvaran, Revathi, Master Tarun, Baby Shruti Vijaykumar and Baby Shamili in the leading roles. The background score and soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Anjali was the composer's 500th film. The film deals with the story of a dying mentally disabled child, and the emotional trauma experienced by her family. The film was dubbed into Hindi and Telugu and released under the same name. Anjali was critically acclaimed, winning three National Film Awards. It was chosen as India's official entry to the Oscars in 1991, but was not nominated.
The film revolves around a family of four – a young civil engineer Shekar (Raghuvaran), his wife, Chitra (Revathi), and their two young children named Arjun (Tarun) and Anu (Shruti). The movie opens with Chitra giving birth to her third child, but unfortunately the daughter is stillborn. Two years later, Shekar and his family move to a new apartment complex. The family seems to have moved on from their grief due to the stillborn child incident and live happily. After a few altercations with the kids in the colony, Arjun and Anu are accepted by all the kids as their own. The kids are all for pulling pranks and generally causing a clamor around the apartment colony. One such constant joke they play on a mentally retarded ex-watchman (Janakaraj) of the colony, much to the chagrin of his wife. The only tenant they are afraid of is an ex-convict (Prabhu Ganesan) who lives alone in one of the apartments.
