"Angels/Losing/Sleep" is a 2005 single by Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace from the album Healthy in Paranoid Times. It was the most successful single from the album and fared well on both the American and Canadian charts.
Our Lady Peace reported that they almost dissolved as a band during the making of the Healthy in Paranoid Times album, and that "Angels/Losing/Sleep" was one of the more difficult songs to write and work on with the other members. The band had to push to have the song put on the album as Bob Rock didn't want it included.
Our Lady Peace has been known to incorporate religious themes into their music and this shows in "Angels/Losing/Sleep", with lyrics such as "looks like the Holy Ghost is gone", and of course the title, "even the Angels are losing sleep". The song is described as being centered on a person who is forced to watch a friend lose faith in their religion, and the central character being there for that person, only able to wait and offer comfort and support.

"Losing Sleep" is a song by English singer and musician John Newman. The song was released on 13 December 2013 as the third single from his debut studio album, Tribute (2013). The song was written by John Newman, Steve Booker and Benny Blanco. The song peaked to number 48 on the UK Singles Chart and number 36 in Scotland.
A music video to accompany the release of "Losing Sleep" was first released onto YouTube on 26 November 2013 at a total length of four minutes and twenty-three seconds.
Robert Copsey of Digital Spy gave the song a positive review stating:
As if 2013 wasn't a good enough year for John Newman - he scored a number one album and single back in October - it's looking increasingly likely that things are only going to get bigger and better for him 2014. His debut single 'Love Me Again' has, unsurprisingly, started making waves in the US and recently entered the Billboard Hot 100, where it looks set for steady ascent. As such, you'd expect that he's been losing out on a few hours' kip in recent months, but it's actually a love interest that's causing him sleepless nights on his latest offering. "It's 3am, I'm calling in to tell you that without you here I'm losing sleep," he sings in his powerful yet gravely tone over militant handclaps and a moody, soul-pop piano line - before making a passionate plea for his lover not to forget about him. We hate to break it to you, John, but global fame doesn't come without difficult compromises.
Losing Sleep is the seventh solo album by the Scottish singer-songwriter Edwyn Collins, released 13 September 2010 on Heavenly Records.
The album was recorded at Collins' West Heath Studios and features guest appearances from Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy, Aztec Camera's Roddy Frame, Johnny Marr, The Cribs' Ryan Jarman and Jacob Graham, Connor Hanwick and Jonathan Pierce of The Drums.
It reached number 54 in the UK album charts upon its week of release and is his most successful album since 1994's Gorgeous George.
Looks like the holy ghost is gone
Now your afraid of yourself
Over your shoulder you have to watch
Heaven fall into hell
Looks like your boat's about to sink
So it's time to prepare
Even the angels are losing sleep
And the sidewalks are bare
It's like the calm before the storm
You better swim
Just like it's cold before it's warm
You'll get back here again
And I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait
I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait
I'll wait I'll wait till you fall from grace
It's the calm before the storm
It's there then it's gone
Oh it looks like the war was in your head
Not your heart
Just when you think it's figured out
Well it all falls apart
It's like the calm before the storm
You better swim
Just like it's cold before it's warm
You'll get back here again
And I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait
I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait
I'll wait I'll wait till you fall from grace
It's the calm before the storm
It's there then it's gone
Looks like the holy ghost is gone
Looks like the holy ghost is gone
Looks like the war was in your head
Looks like the war was in your head
War was in your head
I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait
I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait I'll wait
I'll wait I'll wait till you fall from grace
It's the calm before the storm
