Angel Heart is a 1987 American noir horror mystery thriller film written and directed by Alan Parker, and starring Mickey Rourke, Robert De Niro, and Lisa Bonet. The film was adapted from the novel Falling Angel by William Hjortsberg.
Harry Angel (Rourke), is a downtrodden New York City private detective contracted by Louis Cyphre (Robert De Niro) to track down John Liebling, known as Johnny Favorite, who suffered severe neurological trauma resulting from injuries he received in World War II. Favorite's incapacity disrupted a contract with Cyphre regarding unspecified collateral, and Cyphre believes that a private upstate hospital where Favorite was receiving radical psychiatric treatment for shell shock has falsified records, deliberately preventing the contract from being fulfilled. He hires Angel to discover the truth and locate Favorite's true whereabouts.

Angel Heart is the seventh album by American singer-songwriter Jimmy Webb, released in April 1982 by Real West Production.
In his review for AllMovie, William Ruhlmann described the album as "a classic of the style called 'West Coast pop', a creamy adult contemporary sound with a rock edge but plenty of strings, the tasty guitar solos offset by the sweet harmonies". While Ruhlmann acknowledges that "Webb's days as a struggling vocalist are behind him", he points to a unique problem for a Jimmy Webb album—the material. Ruhlmann concluded:
The AllMusic website gave the album three and a half out of five stars.
All songs written and composed by Jimmy Webb, except where noted.

A young woman stands on top of a building in Shinjuku as she receives a call from her handler. The handler, who calls her "Glass Heart", congratulates her with a job well done regarding her latest kill, which he refers to as her 50th. Glass Heart recounts the day's events. She had just killed a man sitting on a park bench with a silenced gun. As she was leaving the park, a small girl runs in with some ice cream and Glass Heart realizes that she has just killed the father of a little girl. With that she jumps off the building, impaling her chest on the iron spiked fence below.
