Angel Dust (Christine) is a fictional mutant character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Her first appearance was in Morlocks, created by Geoff Johns and Shawn Martinbrough.
When the scared young mutant Angel Dust ran away to join the Chicago faction of the Morlocks, she left behind her frantic parents, who had no idea where she went or why she had left.
After Angel Dust and the other Morlocks swore to help each other resolve one "aboveground" issue, she returned home to tell her parents the truth she thought they would turn her out of the family forever: she was a mutant. To Angel Dust´s surprise, her parents accepted her for who she was, but it was only after she had helped her compatriots defeat a Sentinel base that Angel Dust finally returned home for good.
She was confirmed to have lost her powers after the events of the 2005 "Decimation" storyline.
Angel Dust has the ability to increase her adrenaline, gaining superhuman strength for a short time. Her strength varies from being able to lift 800 pounds to being able to lift 25 tons, depending on her adrenaline levels. Her speed, agility and stamina are also enhanced. However, she can only use her powers for a short time before exhausting herself. When she uses her powers, dark lines appear on her face.

Angel Dust (originally Angeldust) was a German heavy metal band. Initially active from 1984 to 1990 as speed and thrash metal band, they dropped their thrash roots in favor of a power/progressive metal sound upon reforming in 1998.
Angel Dust formed in Dortmund, Germany in 1984 as a typical garage band. They took their name from a song title off English black metal band Venom's debut album Welcome To Hell. The band's musical style was initially heavily influenced by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and Bay Area thrash metal scenes. They soon found their niche in the speed and thrash metal styles, which were widely popular at the time. The band released their debut studio album, Into the Dark Past, in 1986, and followed it up with To Dust You Will Decay, released in 1988. The band broke up in 1990 due to internal conflicts.
Although all members had gone their separate ways, founding member Frank Banx had no desire to let the Angel Dust name die. In 1998, Banx, and original drummer Dirk Assmuth, gathered a completely new lineup (including Frank Banx' younger brother Steven Banx on keyboards) to start from scratch. This reincarnation would handle music differently, shifting dramatically towards progressive metal, and would consequently gain a solid reputation in Europe.
Dust (real name Sooraya Qadir), is a fictional character, a superheroine in Marvel Comics' X-Men-related comic books. She was created by author Grant Morrison and artist Ethan Van Sciver in New X-Men #133 (December 2002), although her character was not fully developed until the New X-Men: Academy X series written by Christina Weir and Nunzio DeFilippis. Sooraya is a mutant with the ability to transform her body into a malleable cloud of dust. The X-Men travel to Afghanistan to rescue Sooraya, whose abilities have made her the target of slavers.
Born in Afghanistan, Sooraya is attacked by a slave trader attempting to remove her traditional niqāb; almost instinctively, she lashes out with her powers and flays him alive with her sand-like dust. The X-Men, hearing of the situation, travel to Afghanistan and rescue her, where she is brought to the USA and becomes a student of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. After the actions of the Scarlet Witch (in which millions of mutants lost their powers), Sooraya remains one of the few mutants to keep their powers. She is currently a member of the Young X-Men team. She is a rare example of a Muslim comic book character who is portrayed in positive light.
