Amy Hill

Amy Marie Hill (born May 9, 1953) is an American actress. She also has an adopted daughter named Penelope Hill and they have performed in numerous shows together across the United States. She is perhaps best known for her roles as Mrs. DePaulo in That's So Raven, Mrs. Kwan in The Cat in the Hat, Sue in 50 First Dates, Miss Hyo-Kim in Next Friday, Yung-Hee "Grandma" Kim on All-American Girl through more of a cult status, and the voice of Jasmine "Ah-Mah" Lee on The Life and Times of Juniper Lee.

Early life

Hill was born in Deadwood, South Dakota, to Ayoko Yoneoka Hill (1914-2008) and Archie Russell Hill, a Finnish American who died after an automobile accident in 1979. She became an acclaimed actress working with the famed Asian American Theater Company in San Francisco, California. Hill is also known in the theatre world as a respected performance artist, having written and performed a number of one-woman shows, including the trilogy of Tokyo Bound, Reunion, and Beside Myself.

Amy Hill (born 4 July 1995) is a Welsh racing cyclist from Newport, Wales, who currently rides for Team Rytger. She previously rode for Abergavenny RC Women’s Team. She was a member of the record breaking, gold medal winning, British team pursuit squad at the Juniors world championships in 2013.

On 8 August 2013, at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow, Hill competed at the UCI Juniors Track World Championships. She was part of Britain's Team Pursuit squad which also included Hayley Jones, Emily Kay and Emily Nelson. In the qualifying heat, they broke the senior world record which had only been set a few weeks previously at the European Track Championships, setting a new time of 4:38.708. In the final, they broke the record once more, with a time of 4:35.085, beating Russia to become world champions.

Hill represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, 2014.
