Amit Erez (Hebrew: עמית ארז) (born June 9, 1980 in Tel Aviv, Israel) is an Israeli musician best known for his work as the guitarist for successful Israeli alternative rock band Eatliz, as well as a solo folk/indie artist.
Amit Erez started writing music around the age of 16, but those song, written in Hebrew didn't survive the test of time and since then Erez went on a different direction, although he still plays two of those songs sometimes at his shows: "רכבות" (Trains) and "כמו תאונה" (Like an Accident).
Around 1998–1999, Erez started writing songs in English, and since then he writes all of his solo material in English. Erez then befriended Omri Levy who worked at Fact Records and just at the time opened The Basement at Fact Records, and suggested Erez to collect all of his material up until then and release it as a full-length album. Amit Erez' first album Wish I Could Make It a Story was released in 2003. After the album's release, Erez recorded another song entitled "Highways" with Rotem Or.
Amit Erez is the second eponymous full-length studio album by Israeli folk/indie solo artist Amit Erez, released on December 11, 2007.
It is the first real studio recording Erez has made as his debut album Wish I Could Make It a Story was basically a collection of early recordings, and his first recording with his solo backing band.
"Postcard" and "Clever and Strong" were released as singles, with "Postcard" receiving a much-played and successful music video.

two bodies down
my love is wasted
no reward, no reward
I tried to learn
your secret sorrows
all you know
all you know
come get your love
It's been a while
you keep on heading for the ground
such a cold
such a cold
this is your art
to push away from everyone
stay alone
stay alone
I guess you'll never know
how much you're missed
it cuts the soul
