Amir Khan (boxer)
Amir Khan (born 8 December 1986) is a British professional boxer and two-time former world champion, having held the unified WBA and IBF light welterweight titles. He currently holds the WBC Silver welterweight title, and has fought at three weight classes: lightweight, light welterweight, and welterweight.
Khan is the youngest British Olympic boxing medalist, winning silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics, at the age of 17. He is also one of the youngest ever British world champions, winning the WBA light welterweight title at the age of 22. The International Business Times ranked him the eighth best pound for pound boxer in 2011.
As an amateur, he scored notable wins over two-time Olympic gold medalist Mario Kindelán and future world champion Victor Ortiz. As a professional, Khan holds notable wins over nine world champions, including Andreas Kotelnik, Marcos Maidana, Julio Díaz, Luis Collazo, Chris Algieri, Paulie Malignaggi, Devon Alexander, Marco Antonio Barrera, and Zab Judah.

Amir Khan (Nawab of Tonk)
Nawab Muhammad Amir Khan (1769–1834) was a leader, of Pashtun origin belonging to Salarzai subtribe of Tarkani tribe and the first ruler of the princely state of Tonk (in the present day Rajasthan state of India). He was the son of Hayat Khan and the grandson of Taleh Khan.He is often confused as a member of the Pindaris although he was a Pathan with his Pathan contingency. British colonial writers sometimes tended to confuse the Pathans as part of the Pindaris.
He allied himself most closely with the Maratha rulers, Scindia and Holkar, on whose behalf he would set out to attack their enemies each November, after the monsoon rains. While the Pindaris tended to concentrate on the east and south central Hindustan, Amir Khan and his Pathans concentrated on the north and Rajasthan. At the height of his power, he is said to have controlled a personal following of 8,000 cavalry, 10,000 infantry and up to 200 guns. The largest contingent amongst the Pindari chiefs, by far.

The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the BBC soap opera EastEnders in 2008, by order of first appearance. All characters were introduced by executive producer Diederick Santer. Santer introduced four characters in January, Mr Lister, a new market inspector; Christian Clarke, the brother of Jane Beale and two members of the Branning family, Selina and Penny. In March, he introduced Jalil Iqbal, a new love interest for Shabnam Masood and in April he introduced Ricky Butcher's fiancée, Melinda as well as Bianca Jackson's children, Whitney, Morgan and Tiffany. Also in April he introduced Denise Fox's ex-husband, Lucas Johnson, and Opal Smith, the aunt of Gus and Juley Smith. In May he extended the Johnson family and introduced Lucas's son, Jordan as well as introducing Brenda Boyle, a new love interest for Charlie Slater. In July, he introduced two members of the long-established Mitchell family, Archie Mitchell and Danielle Jones. In August, he introduced Callum Monks, the son of Vinnie and in September, Tony King, arrived as the partner of Bianca, and Poppy Merritt, the new GP of Walford. November saw the only birth of the year, Amy Mitchell, the child of Roxy Mitchell and Jack Branning. The final introduction of the year was Dotty, Nick Cotton's daughter.
