"Amazing" is a song by Romanian dance/pop vocalist Inna extracted from her debut studio album Hot 2009. It debuted on Radio 21 FM on August 6, 2009 and was released digitally in October 2009. "Amazing" acts as the second release from Inna's full-length record and brought her the first number-one in Romania.
The official music video for the track was shot in Portugal and portrays Inna falling in love with a lifeguard on a beach. Lyrically, "Amazing" speaks about a good-looking man Inna is in love with. The song was initially written and composed by Play & Win for Romanian singer Anca Baidu, but was then given to Inna for recording a re-mixed version of it.
The single was a commercial success in Europe as it reached the top-twenty in most of the country it peaked. Furthermore, it became (together with "Diggy Down") her most successful record in her home country as it stationed atop the Romanian Top 100. "Amazing" sold 40,600 registered copies in France as of 2010.
"Amazing" is the second single from Vanessa Amorosi's unreleased fifth studio album V. It was digitally released on 9 September 2011.
Amorosi said that "Amazing" is an empowering and feelgood kind of track, and allows her to keep loved ones top of mind. "The story behind it is I have lost a few family members over the last five years through cancer but you still carry them with you."
The accompanying video for "Amazing" was filmed at Half Moon Bay in Victoria (Australia) and was directed and produced by Stuart Gosling.
On 29 September 2011, Vanessa Amorosi performed with Simple Plan the song "Jet Lag" and her own song "Amazing" live on the AFL Grand Final Footy Show, which was held at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. On 6 October 2011, Amorosi appeared on Sunrise and on The Morning Show to perform the song. For the Today Network she also did an acoustic version of her song "Amazing" and a cover of Alanis Morissette's song "Ironic". She also performed the song live on the X Factor results show on 11 October 2011.
"Amazing" is a song by American hip hop artist Kanye West, released as the third single for his fourth studio album, 808s & Heartbreak. Co-produced with Victor Alexander, the song features hip hop artist Young Jeezy and contains additional vocals provided by Mr Hudson and Tony Williams. This song was used in the NBA during the 2009 Playoffs, and is featured on the NBA 2K10 and NBA 2K13 soundtracks. UFC Fighter Frank Mir walks out to this song before his fights. The song was nominated at the 52nd Grammy Awards in the Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group category. The song also marks the second collaboration with Kanye West and Young Jeezy, the first being Young Jeezy's 2008 single "Put On". The song also marks the two rappers' second time to do a song to be nominated for a Grammy award.
Co-writer Jeff Bhasker discussed the song's conception: "That was actually the first song [we did for the album.] I brought the beat and the music. I started the idea and [West] was like, 'That's hot.' [...] So I brought that music and he brought his editorial to it and then wrote the melody, and said we're gonna get Jeezy on it. We were searching for sort of a tribal-ish drum sounds and that just came out. It's a very simple and dark sounding piano figure.
A seal is a device for making an impression in wax, clay, paper, or some other medium, including an embossment on paper, and is also the impression thus made. The original purpose was to authenticate a document, a wrapper for one such as a modern envelope, or the cover of a container or package holding valuables or other objects.
The seal-making device is also referred to as the seal matrix or die; the imprint it creates as the seal impression (or, more rarely, the sealing). If the impression is made purely as a relief resulting from the greater pressure on the paper where the high parts of the matrix touch, the seal is known as a dry seal; in other cases ink or another liquid or liquefied medium is used, in another color than the paper.
In most traditional forms of dry seal the design on the seal matrix is in intaglio (cut below the flat surface) and therefore the design on the impressions made is in relief (raised above the surface). The design on the impression will reverse (be a mirror-image of) that of the matrix, which is especially important when script is included in the design, as it very often is. This will not be the case if paper is embossed from behind, where the matrix and impression read the same way, and both matrix and impression are in relief. However engraved gems were often carved in relief, called cameo in this context, giving a "counter-relief" or intaglio impression when used as seals. The process is essentially that of a mould.
Seal, Sil, Shil, Shill, Silsharma, Shillsharma , is a Bengali Hindu Brahmin family name. It literally means the quality of being devoted. The family name is common to people of Rajputs and Bengali. Seal is the anglicized version of the name, but Sil, Shil, Shill, Silsharma, ShillSharma are fall under Brahmin caste.
In the law, a seal affixed to a contract or other legal instrument has had special legal significance at various times in the jurisdictions that recognise it. In the courts of common law jurisdictions, a contract which was sealed ("made under seal") was treated differently from other written contracts (which were "made under hand"), although this practice gradually fell out of favour in most of these jurisdictions in the 19th and early 20th century. The legal term seal arises from the wax seal used throughout history for authentication (among other purposes).
Originally, only a wax seal was accepted as a seal by the courts, but by the 19th century many jurisdictions had relaxed the definition to include an impression in the paper on which the instrument was printed, an embossed paper wafer affixed to an instrument, a scroll made with a pen, or the printed words "Seal" or "L.S." (standing for the Latin term locus sigilli meaning "place of the seal").
Notwithstanding their reduced significance, seals are still used on contracts, usually in the impression on paper form.
Everyone says you're amazing
Say you don't know how to do it now, so you run
It's not that you're bleeding
But you're through with it now, so you run, so you run
I know that you need it, you can't live alone
So you run, so you run
Everyone says you're amazing now that you're clean
But only you know the real ones are 'cause you've seen
There's only one question I want to ask is it here and
When you hear everyone say you're amazing
Does anyone ask you?
Do you cry in your sleep and do you feel okay
When you run?
Thinking it's Doomsday you got to let it go
So you run, so you run
Pretend you don't see it, that we can live a lie
When you run, so you run
Everyone says you're amazing now that you're clean
Only you know the real ones are 'cause you've seen
There's only one question I want to ask is it here and
When, when you hear everyone say you're amazing
Does anyone ask you?
'Cause I know that you're real
Amazing, amazing, amazing
Everyone says you're amazing now that you're clean
Only you know the real ones are because you have seen
There's only one question I want to ask is it here and
When you hear, everyone says you're amazing
Everyone says you're amazing
(I want you to always feel you're amazing)
Everyone says you're amazing
(I want you to always feel you're amazing)
I want you to always feel you're amazing
