Amanullah Khan (politician)

Amanullah Khan is a politician in Hyderabad Old City. A firebrand Amanullah Khan joined the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen in 1960. He contested from the Chandrayangutta Assembly segment for the first time in 1978 and won against the Congress nominee, K. Baliah. Amanullah Khan retained the seat five terms. He represented Chandrayangutta assembly constituency between 1978 and 1994. Four times he was elected as an AIMIM candidate (1978, 1983, 1985, and 1989) and in 1994 as an MBT candidate. Amanullah Khan retained the seat five terms.[1] He represented Chandrayangutta constituency between 1978 and 1999. Four times he was elected as an AIMIM candidate and in 1994 as an MBT candidate. In 1999 he ran as an MBT candidate, but was defeated by AIMIM candidate Akbaruddin Owaisi. He is also the founder of Majlis Bachao Tehreek save majlis movement.

Amanullah Khan

Amanullah Khan (Pashto: أمان الله خان, Dari: أمان الله خان, Urdu: أمانالله خان, June 1, 1892 – April 25, 1960) was the Sovereign of the Kingdom of Afghanistan from 1919 to 1929, first as Emir and after 1926 as Malik (King). After the third Anglo-Afghan War, Afghanistan was able to pursue an independent foreign policy free from the influence of the United Kingdom, and his rule was marked by dramatic political and social change. He was the first Afghan ruler who attempted to modernize Afghanistan on Western designs. However, he did not succeed in this because of a popular uprising by Habibullah Kalakani and his followers. On 14 January 1929, Amanullah abdicated and fled to neighbouring British India while Afghanistan fell into a civil war. From British India he went to Europe where he died in Zürich, Switzerland, in 1960.

Early years

Amānullāh Khān was born on 1 June 1892, in Paghman near Kabul, Afghanistan. He was the third son of the Amir Habibullah Khan. Amanullah was installed as the governor of Kabul and was in control of the army and the treasury, and gained the allegiance of most of the tribal leaders.

Amanullah Khan is a Pakistani comedian and stage actor. He currently works in Mazaaq Raat on Dunya TV.

TV Shows

In 2010, Amanullah joined GEO news for its new program Khabarnaak. He portrays a simple, village man named Hakeem sahab. The rest of the characters are bent on disparaging Hakeem sahab. Khan left the show in August 2013. He also played role as Chacha Bashir in Mazaaq Raat, and Manju Bittu Sharma's Uncle and various characters in Comedy Nights with Kapil
