Mr. Capone-E
Mr. Capone-E is a rapper and owner of Hi-Power Entertainment. He was also signed with Thump Records, where he released his 2003 album Dedicated 2 the Oldies in which he interpolated songs like "Angel Baby" by Rosie & the Originals . Even though, Mr.Capone-E has described his music as "Sureño hip hop.
In 2006,Mr.Capone-E collaborated with Twista for the single "Don't Get It Twisted". The song charted at #40 on the Billboard Rhythmic Top 40 chart
Solo career
2001-2010
Mr.Capone-E released his first solo album in 2001 titled "Last Man Standing". in 2002 after signing a 3-year distribution deal with Thump Records, a partner of Universal Records. That year he met Mr. Criminal, a rapper from Silver Lake at a low rider car show. Thump Records Music Group which gained widespread international popularity in 2003.
In 2002, Mr. Capone-E released his DVD, A Day in the Life of Mr. Capone followed by in 2003 his 3rd album, Mr. Capone-E: Dedicated to the Oldies, which sold over half a million copies and still continues selling units today.
